| What the title says. Does the anime skip any arcs that "dont matter"? What does the fandom think about the quality of the adaptation? |
| this is based from my very poor memories so correect me if i am wrong... they are not skipping any important arc, they are good, but the animation extreamly subpar with horrendious CGI whne they are race... (i only watch the first stage-final stage.. haven't watch remake movie version, so i can't say anything about it) surprisingly, i found korean live action is soo much better... |

| From what I read, yes, and I became used to the CGI fast so I wouldn't worry about that. |

| After seeing some clips from First Stage, it's really a shame that all of that great CEL animation was ruined by those CGI shots. Imagine how nice it would have been if they had taken their time and drew those cars by hand just like they did with the characters. I guess it probably would have needed a larger budget, which means it probably wouldn't have come out on TV... so, realistically, I guess it makes sense why it didn't happen... but putting all of that aside, it's something that has unfortunately really prevented me from wanting to start watching the series at all... |

| I might be one of the few people who prefer the CGI. It is extremely smooth and brings out every movement of the car nicely, and allows more complicated shots. This is something 2D animation cannot achieve without a LOT of work. That's why most animation for moving vehicles (car, plane, tank, ship) are in 3D. |
