Nah, there have been quite a few with accents. The doctor in the Empress episode of Part 3 spoke with straight-up broken Japanese, which we reflected in our blu-ray subs. Abdul also had a slight accent.

Huh, I don't recall but I'll take your word for it. Abdul had an accent?

Also, "our" blu-ray subs?

This keeps getting better and better!! First Yukako's mini arc and now this one...Tonio is also husbando material wonderful...I really hope we get to see more of him and that this isn't just a one time thing, although I'm not getting my hopes up. The accent was a nice touch as well...honestly I think I need a Tonio in my life- a gorgeous, talented Italian chef whose dishes improve my health within seconds of eating them doesn't sound bad at all XD

Okuyasu really shone this episode as well & the Simon and Garkfunkel analogy made me lose my shit- he's quickly becoming a favourite ^^

Also, loving Josuke as the MC, his presence isn't overpowering to the extent where he steals all the spotlight like Joseph, but it isn't overly chivalrous or boring like Jonathon. He's a nice mix between both, making him pretty much your average Jo pun definitely intended with some quirks and a hair complex. I love that.

Probably, but I heard somewhere that it airs half an hour after midnight in Japan. "27 hours 28 minutes" just looks like 3 hours after that to me.

Did i just watch shokugeki no soma over again?
when did takumi aldini grow up?
"My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where the villas are, and i am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and i get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but i occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get 8 hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last checkup."

I feel like that I'm going to be the only one to point out that tomatoes did not come from Italy... They were brought over from America.

Anyway, it was an enjoyable and a fresh breath of air from just battle.

Best Stand so far! Best episode of this series too.

I was totally fooled by the horror-like environment and scenes: I was actually sure it would be something like the Christopher Reeve episode of Tales from the Crypt.

I'm Italian-American and yet this pisses me off as well. Still the argument can be made that the Italians were the first people from the old world to use it as something other then an ornamental plant.
Also Fun fact Tomatoes and Nightshade come from the same family of plants.

Well, if you understand italian, Tonio's accent is even worse than Joseph's engrish. It's as fake as it gets. I mean, it's Super-Mario levels of fake italian. So much cringeworthy it's actually hilarious, just like Caesar's italian was.
The words written in italian on the signs and on the menu, tho, were absolutely correct.

Fun fact: in part 5, there's also extensive use of bad italian, especially

Very interesting bit of trivia there. I don't know Italian so that would have flown right over my head. So there's Engrish for corrupted English spoken by the Japanese, and Gerpanese for corrupted German spoken by the Japanese (thank Hiroyuki Sawano for popularising this one), what do we call corrupted Italian spoken by the Japanese?

I was waiting for Tonio to show his true color during the entire ep. But no, he's actually a good guy instead of a villian.
Lmao when the brick in Tonio's hand turned out to be a soap. I was like "WHAT? WHAT'S HAPPENING?"
I wish there could be some very delicious food that makes me healthier. However, it looked so creepy after eating it before getting healthy result.
Okuyasu's reactions to the food and his thanking his mum for giving birth to him was gold.
Next ep my favorite JOJO is coming~

Nope, just has a VERY misleading power. The food he makes with his stand helps people with any health related problems but it does so in quite a graphic and gory manner. It doesn't seem like they actually feel any pain while it happens and they end up feeling great afterwards so he's pretty harmless other than the trauma it might cause to someone who's watching it happen xD

I was genuinely surprised that he didn't have any bad intentions at all despite all the chaos that happened in front of Josuke. Pearl Jam, you cad...
