 Kyoto Animation has uploaded a commercial video on its official website and YouTube channel on Friday. At the end of the video, the studio formally announced that an anime project for the light novel Violet Evergarden is in the works. Violet Evergarden is a light novel written by Kana Akatsuki with illustrations by Akiko Takase. It is the grand prize winner of the fifth Kyoto Animation Award in the light novel category in 2014. The staff have been listed for the commercial, but it is not known if they will return for the anime project. | Stunnig animation, kyoani just upped themselves. Gorgeous stuff. Or knk. I hear it's a collection of short stories. Synopsis:“Auto Memories Doll.” It’s already been a long time since that name was first popularized. It’s a machine that Dr. Orlando created that talks in a natural voice. At first, he only made it to help out his loving wife, but before long they spread out into the world. and companies were made to lend them out. “I’m Violet Evergarden, the Auto Memories Doll who will rush to provide service anywhere you wish.“ That translucent voice comes from a robotic beautiful girl with blonde hair and blue eyes like she came out of a storybook. |

| Even for KyoAni's standard, this is AAA level visual. The original material seems good, too. Finally someone have sent something that doesn't sounds extremely mediocre to KyoAni's publishing works. It's been a long time since the last time I have a high hope for KyoAni (not counting movies). |

| It doesn't say TV anime and that sakuga is of such high quality that I wouldn't be surprised if this was a feature film instead of TV anime. |
