Just finished watching TAG and thought it was a good show. The last few episodes were awesome. The VA for Dianna/Kihel did an amazing job and her performance was superb. Some pacing issues and dull moments for sure, but overall pretty good show. 7/10

Did anyone like Sochie?
I found her super annoying the entire series.
Wait a second his name is Rolan? That sounds much better than Loran. I had a feeling tho that it was a mistranslation because when the female engineer showed harry lorans signature it started with a R.
could be like the whole luffy/ruffy thing.

I loved Lily's skirt line. Best.
Anyway, I was actually a little surprised by Loran and Sochie's kiss. I mean I don't think it could never work or anything and don't want to really say I wasn't expecting it, but there really wasn't anyone I expected Loran to end up with except for maybe Dianna since they seemed to bond a bit during the first switcharoonie.
So far, I think Loran might be one of my favorite Gundam protagonists. He was pretty darn level headed throughout the whole series; he pretty much knew what he wanted, knew what he had to do, and did everything he had to do as a character. As boring as this might sound on paper, Loran's not exactly a funsucker who sucks the fun out of funsucking; he can still be just a little childlike, especially in some of his reactions to certain things, and his undying loyalty and optimistic "eyyy I'm not on any side I'm using the White Doll to hep everyone yay" thoughts gave off a sense of naivety. Overall, Loran was a charming character.
Dianna was also great. Loved her development when she switched with Kihel.
I'm a bit eh about Sochie. I mean it seems to me like she didn't mature much. Loran can easily come back after Dianna dies, but it looks like she wants everything to happen instantly. If she loved the guy then it probably wouldn't have been a problem to patiently wait for his possible return-- especially since it seems the feelings were mutual at the end, but going off screaming, throwing the guy's stuff in the river-- looks like she never left point A in terms of development (point F at most). Now, maybe there's more to it, like Loran's not coming back for other reasons, but as I'm seeing it now, this is my current blab about Sochie. She can always hook up with Miashei. :U
I feel like the fight was rushed so they could slow down the epilogue bit. Not sure if I liked that choice or not but meh, as long as I know what happened, I guess it's okay.
Overall, good enough for me.
Lol, but Miashei already hooked up with that long-haired guy from the Moonrace that she shared 5 minutes of screen time with.

Fucking hate this show, the dialogues were all over the place, and the characters really weren't that memorable, except for Harry, he's a very good Char clone. Powerful ending though, especially Sochie's screaming scene, hits me like Ayase's scene when she got rejected.

7/10 at the lowest points in the show, it had a few episodes that felt dragged out, and some of the people obviously didn't know how to sit down and talk about their mental issues. but at it's high points, man i got blown away. the show's well animated, the plot was on point for the majority of the series, the OST is godly, the characters for the most part felt real and developed, Loran now sits right behind, if not in front of Setsuna as my favorite MC, Harry is officially the best char clone, and the final 13 episodes or so were just beautiful.
Also, hitting a gundam in the crotch just to break up their fight... yeah, this gundam series is beautifully written. and very well executed. it might be 7/10 at it's lowest, but it's 9/10 everywhere else.
yep. I Have no idea what I'm doing, but I enjoy my life all the more because of it.

Glad that I watched this unique Gundam series, the ending was written to my liking: that concerns all characters plus this ending song was just perfect to support that events in the end...All I can say it's not a masterpiece for me but it was worth watching it because it is not common point of view on gundam universe.

DarkRyuusei said:Their should of been an epilogue episode explaining what happens after Dianna dies from the illness, confirm the ship ffs.
Just finished Turn A and wow , what a great show, Turn A was awesome, Turn X was great. And thank god for gundam wikia for the Diana ending part
"At the end of the series Dianna permanently switches places with Kihel, and it is revealed that Rolan took on a mission to leave Sochie behind, (hence the kiss) out of loyalty to Dianna and accompany her to a small peaceful cabin on earth, where he will dutifully watch over her until her inevitable death due to illness caused by long periods of hibernation (which is hinted at by her walking stick). The ring Dianna is shown wearing was not a ring of marriage to Rolan but a momento of Will Game. The ambiguity of the ending sequences containing Rolan, Sochie and Dianna has caused much confusion and debate between fans as to its intended meaning by the creators."

They made the ending to be ambiguous, which, I guess is fine.
I did not like Sochie. She didn't have enough likable character traits and was consistently annoying throughout. So I did not feel bad about Loran not choosing to be with her.
I was ACTUALLY relieved that something believably sad finally happened.
Not enough supporting characters died by the end (Gavane and Corin died, that's it.)
I loved the Harry/Kihel romance, that was my favorite character development.
-Gym was a nonsense BBEG.
-Guin looked pretty cool at the end.
-Loran was't super likable to begin with, and he didn't change at all by the end.
-The beginning felt really clumsy.
I still really liked it.
+The setting was a cool idea.
+Overall the story is pretty good.
+It's very colorful.
+This is the Gundam with the Dark History in it.

Yeah, it makes no sense that some people think Loran and Dianna have any romantic connection, unless they haven't been paying attention at all, especially the final scenes which include the walking stick and the "going to bed before it's even dark".
Didn't like the ending. No one really died. Everybody hooked up with everybody. But then again, the series wasn't good anyway, so I guess that was somewhat expected.
Screw Sochie especially though, riding Gavane's D for half the series and chasing Loran's for the other half.
