I highly doubt this will have any trouble being accepted, but in case someone tried to improperly use this old ruling to justify denying it, Kojirou Shishido has proven to be an established, award-winning director, so all of his animated works qualify for the database, regardless of length or absence of plot. Can you provide a video link from an official source and not some rando youtuber. Normal game opening are not allowed on MAL. Which are OPs taken from the game itself and are classified as game cut-scenes, which many youtuber rip and post on their channels. Official PVs that are self-titled "openings" are allowed because they are promotional material released before the game comes out. The two eps from the MAL entry are such items, both were released on Namco Bandai's official youtube channel and were released before the games. |

| Marmalade Boy is listed as beginning its run in March of 1994, but it appears in the Spring season for that year in the MAL database rather than in the Winter season. Shouldn't it be in the winter season as MAL considers winter to be JAN-FEB-Mar and Spring to be APR-MAY-JUN? I ask because I'm trying to use it for the Spring 1994 entry int he Ultimate Anime Challenge. Thanks! |
