| Please add the tragedy genre to MAL Nobody wants to be trapped into watching a tragedy, a fictional snuff film by accident, and because there's no tragedy genre on MAL, ratings, polls, comments, and reviews are more likely to be negative on a given series or film. Tragedy is a legit genre that's been popularized by Shakespeare, Higuchi Ichiyō (Japan) and many other writers and I think should be put on MAL. |

This is probably b/c Hulu organized them as such and some mod didn't check when accepting the eps (it's uncommon for streaming companies to get DVD specials). So the extra footage after the credits on the BD release titled "Matsurika's Journal" is the special. This was not present in the TV airing. The 2 minute duration MAL listed versus the 22 seconds of new footage there actually is--is from the ED!! The first TV airing episode didn't have an ED. All they did was scroll the credits across the bottom of the last few minutes of the episode. In the BluRay release the 1st episode has an ED, it is 1 min 30 seconds in length. 1 min 30 sec [ED] + 22 sec [Special] = 1 min 52 sec ≈ 2 min So this is where the duration mismatch comes from! Reflecting back on this entry. I really do think it should be removed. It was only 22 seconds of new footage and the footage which was part of episode 1 and not on a separate section of the DVD menu. It's not really a special and more like a director's cut.
