ONAs can close early with due cause, such as the creators stating how many eps they were planning on making eg. https://myanimelist.net/anime/38023/Lipton_watashitolipton or the website shutting down (most frequent reason request in this thread that's granted). The VR anime was originally announced to be released on 1 day on specific platforms. Which is was and did. Kanojo-tachi had no such press release, it has no due cause to close. |

| Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Solider https://myanimelist.net/anime/1678/ This series has a bit of episode numbering confusion. To keep my request simple, I'll leave it at this: The episode in-between "Rise of the Demon" and "When You Wish Upon a Shooting Star", currently listed as "Episode 48", is a recap episode that was un-numbered and is not included in the official episode count. In all honesty, it's not actually episode 48, but an unnumbered episode, more akin to being called "episode 47.5" My request is that this episode be broken out into it's own, separate entry, called "Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Solider Recap", (with an explanation that the recap comes in-between episodes 47 and 48), and the main series being corrected to having 51 episodes. My reasons for this are threefold: 1) Wikipedia has an episode list that features the recap episode, but they leave it unnumbered and have the final episode numbered as '51', so there's already a precedent set for the series being 51 episodes long. 2) Complete box sets in Japan, as well as the recently released BluRay from Discotek have 51 episodes, omitting the previously mentioned unnumbered recap episode, meaning that most people who get the official release of the series will end up not seeing the recap episode, and be forced to either lie, or leave their episode count at 51, and their status as "on hold". 3) This recap episode features no additional footage, just old scenes with the same dialogue over the top of it. Unlike Episode 26 of the series, "Gilmore's Notes", which essentially functions as a recap episode, but features new animation and dialogue between characters in-between the recapping. Please consider this change. |
