I kind of agree with francis here...shows that do well with atmosphere normally get it right instantly if it's a 12 episode show. Right now, it feels like it's banking on a particular moment to get the atmosphere started. It seems as though they're making a gamble, trying to hook people in with the lousy archetypes on that basis alone, and then turn everything around with something "crazy unexpected." A lot of these relationships just don't feel genuine enough to really do anything shocking though. Unless his sister or dad turns into a werewolf or something. |

| As far as I remember Umineko was said to be 12 episode when the serie started aired and it finally ended up with 24 episode so maybe the same thing will happen there. |

| I honestly like Tsumuhana and the CGI... And I think that there's something about Hiro that has to do with the plot... but I'm not sure. :3 The similarities to Higurashi are pretty cool :B ... AND THE PREVIEWS, GOD. I love them. And the Isuzu / Hiro moments |

Being a product made from 07th expantion's work it did bring a lot of higurashi and umineko fan who think that this show is really bad compared to it's two predecesor, it also bring people who are more selective and picky in their anime choice. I think that the show is not bad at all as well but hey people gotta hate. |

| There really is no point in paying attention to this site's overall ratings. You can look at the top 25, and quickly see why. A lot of shows get spammed negatively and positively. I guess that explains the whining about the show being hated on though. |

I even heard José Gonzales singing Heartbeats in my head XD Lol I was thinking the same :D when is saw all those balls going down the stairs:D. Other than that this show just feels gross. Lots of yaoi vibes, and they get even stronger with the character designes, the voice acting and the gay clothing (who the hell dresses that way *points at Issei, Hiroshi's father and the gay wite school uniforms*. It feels more like yaoi, trap, and hetero fanservice mix with some dark tones than an actual thriller. Hope it gets better though there aren't many serious animes worth being watched this season. The story seems pretty obvious for me (townsfolk are wolves, if their natural instinct wins over them the wolf cult cuts them down), but the execution is boring as hell. |

| Good anime. Except it could have been done better in a lot of ways. Like if they didn't show how the classmate died in the previous ep for example. Would have been spookier that way. Animations been good so far unlike Umineko where it burned me. |

| I don't understand why everyone is bashing this one either. Everyone seems to think it is going to be something that it is not. I really like that this one doesn't follow Higurashi that much. That the characters are more curious and the hints are better as long as it doesn't go back and forth I really don't mind. This one loks cleaner too I think. Just my impression. |

| Haha whoever calls Isuzu annoying... try Yuka from 11 eyes!!!! Isuzu till now is not even 1% annoying compared to how hella annoying that Yuka was... seems a pretty interesting story so far anywayz, i guess i'll keep watching for now. |

| So apparently, we're getting yaoi in the next episode. I was wondering exactly what was causing their affection for the main character family, but apparently it's possession. Still quite a mystery as to what exactly is going on. |

| Well, the second episode was confusing yet again. Clingy girl is still be clingy and now her brother looks to be just as bad! I want to know whats so amazing about Hiro, I mean, for a main character, he is so boring! Am I missing something.... Well, hopefully some answers in the next episode! |

| This episode was very boring. They even repeated the same sequence at the end, apparently Hiroshi is in danger according to the conversation between Nemuru and Isuzu. The mystery is still fine. |
