Same as title. Do you consider yourself a social person or as the anime term coins it, a riajuu/normie/normalfag?

As an added question if you're not, then how do you feel about normies? I kinda want to know if the anime stereotype of hating and those stuff are real.

No insult meant from this. The quote was from Yahari and Boku wa Tomodachi ga Inai. Apparently people were using different subs.

I'm mostly introverted, but I'm trying to change that.

Long bouts of awkward silence feels awful.
Now I see the secret of the making of the best persons.
It is to grow in the open air and to eat and sleep with the earth.
-Walt Whitman

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

I hang out with my brother most of the time, so we're pretty isolated from other people.
I can still behave normally around people, I'm not a social outcast or anything, I actually have a pretty negative view of obnoxious people who hang out alone because they can't make friends but they're too superior to blame the issue on themselves so just say that they're alone because the others are stupid, which is a dumb statement in itself.

Though there are not doubt people who are alone because they just like it that way, I have nothing against them, I just don't get it, people are awesome.

But introverted is normal. Actually a lot of people are ambiverts somewhere between introvert and extrovert. It's just a different way of needing to socialize, not normal or abnormal.

I think you're making a mistake to equate "normies" with anti-introversion (many stereotypical normies are ISTJ and ISFJ MBTI types, and MBTI and "introversion" are both derived from Jung).

I'm definitely introvert. I can't socialise with people, I try but I can't seem to get a long with anyone. My birthday is in a few days and my plan is to spend it alone drinking and watching anime Life is great

I really don't know. I act extroverted at college and like talk a lot with friends, but at the same time get exhausted by it too. Idk if that's introverted or not.
Yep I like to think I'm kinda normal.

I would say I'm in between the two. I'll spend most of my free time usually being by myself but if there's any opportunity to be social I'll be glad to participate.

I was rewatching Boku ga Tomodachi with someone and reading some of the older posts kinda clicked it, I'm not trying to be insulting. It just happens that the anime term would be the easiest to get.

You are not making any sense. At one point you said introverted is normal. The next statement claiming the large existence of ambiverts which is a mix between of both introvert and extrovert traits within a person. The last sentence is my favourite though, concluding that introvert is neither normal or abnormal, which totally going against the first point of stating that having introvert traits are normal. Even though the conclusion refers to ambiverts, it still doesn't make any sense since as you say, ambiverts are common.

I guess I'm a bit of a normie...

I have no issue with socialisation or anything I just happen to hate a lot of people because they like complete retards.

I happen to be pretty proficient at being a retard myself so that says something...

Well, everyone in my class thinks I'm extremely introverted for preferring to read during breaks instead of chatting with them. But you can't really count on their standards. Because most of them are extremely social. I'm not so normal for them which I don't mind. Yes, I do think both types are normals but not in my society's eyes. The thing is I can be social most of the times if I wanted to. But I don't. So for my limited normal times, it's good to talk with people now and then but I enjoy my time more doing things I like.

Very social with the people I'm already comfortable with. But very introverted when around strangers though only in person. (If I were introverted online as well, I probably wouldn't be on the forums at all.)

When online, I can still express myself but can't engage in conversation that easily/casually with others. So a normie.... I suppose?

Being an introvert is abnormal now?
And being an extrovert is enough to qualify you as normal?

There sure must be a lot of abnormal people running around then. ISFJ is supposed to be the most common personality type. ISTJ and ISFP are very common as well. What a world we live in.

I think i'm an extrovert and introvert.

I like talking to people and if given chance i'd be the one who initiate a new topic conversation. But at the same time, i don't like being in the middle of attention of large group. And i would rather shut myself in than going outside.

actually introversion=\= autism. An introvert can speak with others just fine, it has to do with how they gather energy. Introverts need breaks from social events to be alone, whereas extroverts love these big social events and need them to renew. An extrovert could be more socially awkward than an introvert.

Considering humans are social by nature, introversion is closer to being abnormal than normal.
