| He wont accept his situation... But he wont complain as much as the time goes, and the anime will just get better and better after Varia-arc! It's totally worth watching to the end. I was about to drop first, but i continued and now it's one of my favorite anime. :D |

I read something that the manga first was meant as a pure comedy, but it didn't sell well so the author changed the genre. After the change the manga got really popular and much better. Where you dropped it is where the author hadn't changed it yet. So I recommend you to pick it up again and watch it some eps more! :) |
| It turns from a comedy gag SOL anime to a pretty interesting shounen somewhere in episode 25-26. It takes much longer for the main character to get cool though(but man does he get cool). All the characters get development and backstory and such over time. I will mention that the anime isn't complete. The manga goes past where the anime stopped, so you might want to consider reading it instead. Watch this OP. |
