| I agree... And the way the clock stopped and everything was shown in silence was just... powerful. Really struck it home that the madam is... gone... What will happen to Emma...? You could already tell that she was completely and absolutely devastated... |

| Damn that's rather sad and a huge impact to the characters, I do wonder what will happen now, what will Emma do? Really sad episode, lots of things are going wrong so I really wonder and hope if there is some brighter future in the storyè |

| That watch symbolized the life of Kelly..it was running until her life was gone. Sad episode indeed. |

| I love the subtlety of this series. Even though it's such a sad episode, from the family's reaction to William's love of Emma to of course the death of madam is handled with such restraint and economy of dialogue. No theatrical dramatics are needed to accentuate the impact of what's happening. |

| When I started this series I really didn't think something like this would happen...so sad ;_; It's hard to predict what will happen to Emma after this |

| When I first met the mistress, she had this cold look on her face like she was going to be evil. Mr. Jones' reaction didn't really help haha. As the series went along, I realize I honestly loved her so much. When it was implied something happened to her, I was like nah Emma's definitely going to be able to talk to her a little bit before she passes, but she was just gone by the time she reached her... man, my heart. :( I cried. |

| Her benefactor, teacher, ally, friend and family (mother figure) is now gone. Poor Emma I think she is overwhelmed and must be confused... I wonder how things are going to develop for her, if she is able to adjust her life after such devastating lose...? |

| William has a hard time with his family, hope they come to terms with his descision. And the dignity with which they handled Kelly's death was simply good in taste and proved once again that this series doesn't require flashiness in order to deliver a powerful moment. Proper storytelling and subtle details are more than sufficient for that task. |

| Damn, this was a sad episode. Rest in Peace, good ma'am. Supporting Emma and Jones to the very last moment, thank you. It was obvious this was coming when she told her old acquaintance to take care of Emma but I certainly didn't expect it to come this fast. I feel so bad for Emma now. Those last few inaudible seconds really hurt... Not to mention, Jones x Emma will take a hit now too... |

| Since "sightseeing" is such a big part of this series it's a shame the map briefly shown in the Jones' parlor didn't include more of the British Empire than India. Much of Africa should also be colored in red, as well as some other parts of Asia. |
