| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I'd say in general this series is pretty overrated (if this manga adaptation is a fair representation of the original novel). I don't particularly mind BL in this case, so I am not particularly complaining about that. The plot didn't turn out to be anything exceptional, nor is it told in a profound manner. It has been said that this manga is a great "children literature". I guess I am just past the age to read it. 6/10 Back to this chapter, the conclusion is decent, I suppose. |

| Yeah, essentially same opinion here, how this stays so high in rankings is beyond me. The premise was interesting, but out of nowhere we get a deus ex machina and it makes it drop from good, to pretty eh. The ending is pretty casual 'good things happen, tries to point out at ending being good while remaining open ended just for the sake of it' you would see in 1000s of other manga/anime series... 7/10 because of interesting utopia build up, but the last chapters felt like the manga just got axe'd and had to be finished in a hurry. |
| Indeed, no clue why this is rated so highly. The utopia/dystopia setting was quite interesting, but quite typical of the genre. The conclusion to the last arc was just ??? Overall, it was really.... just average. |
| the best part about this series is definitely the main characters and their relationship, I think the final could be better developed and I think this series deserved a more finished plotline, overall very enjoyable |
