Out of the main bunch only 2 were appealing to me for a good chunk of the show. Later cases didn't interest me much either but that all changed when Akane started messing around with Sybil. Why did they have to wait so long that stuff is comedy gold! Watching Shinya and Shougo go at it was amusing as well, especially when Akane started picking up on hints. Also can we take a moment to appreciate that dominators are listed as characters??? Yes. The guns are a character can you believe it?? I went from downright hating this show to wanting to see more of Shinya and Akane doing their detective stuff. Slightly before I found out the truth about Sybil I immediately thought back of this horror story I read as a kid in one of those "horror stories for teens compilation" books. It almost felt nostalgic to see that same idea many years later. I hope Akane gets more humor time with Sybil in the rest of the franchise. |
