| ...THE FU-- Okay just the mandrake really caught me off guard, to be honest. Holy crap that was terrifying. I do like how sweet and slow this is so far though! I'm always on the lookout for shows about witches in a slice-of-life setting, so I've been really excited about this for a while! |

| Finally a proper slice-of-life series. I was getting tired of all the high school comedies that pass for slice-of-life anime these days. Makoto reminds me a lot of Akari from Aria. Both in terms of personality and voice acting. |
| I was already expecting to see a mandrake when MC mentioned to cover the ears, but God that is one creepy looking Mandrake.. a lot scarier than other horror movie characters imo.. think I'll get nightmares tonight.. |

| The way she pulled out and handled the mandrake like it was the world's most normal thing was hilarious. Kei-kun's seiyuu sounds kinda.. bland though? |

| HAHAHAHA. OMG. This anime was recommended by a friend. There were so many great reactions in this anime. I laughed so hard. When she went to go pull that gift I just knew what it was. Thanks 'Harry Potter'. HAHAHA. The face certainly made my heart sink for a second. Terrifyiing. BUT I LOVE IT. |
| Different from one shot. I didn't expect this kind of pacing and it seems that the author erased the romance possibilities. Since he made Mako and Kei a cousins (unlike in one shot). I don't really mind though. |

| Actually surprised that I wasn't bored. There was so little that actually happened. This might be a good thing. Everything was understated, from the character designs to the voices (Kei especially sounds nothing like an anime character, which is both good and bad in a way). The music is pretty run-of-the-mill, too. All of this, however, seems to be enjoyable somehow. Riding a broom never looked more uncomfortable. It's probably because usually when I see a witch ride a broom she wears a robe, so I never think about how painful it would be. Makoto doesn't wear a robe, so this time it occurred to me. Plus, even the way she got on the broom was slow enough that I had time to consider stuff like this. It's even better that she explicitly pointed it out, I didn't expect that. The mandrake moment was actually huge. Probably even more so because everything before it was peaceful. The only other aspect that stood out to me was the background art, it was really pretty. |

 So Kei would rather have a sausagefest than walk his hot cousin home? My man, you got your priorities all fucked up. Chinatsu's and Nao's reaction to Makoto's antics were some of the best I've ever seen xD Great first episode. Not only was it pleasing, it was hilarious to boot. |

| The beginning was so relaxing I thought I was about to fall asleep (in the good way) until the unexpected broom scene but the mandrake scene was pure gold, so funny and disturbing at the same time haha Just a relaxing anime with some comedy and nice atmosphere!! Ps: I really loved the landscapes of this episode!! |
| -this music is pretty lively -also the backgrounds look pretty nice -also mc-chan looks like a slightly older chitanda eru with green contacts -makoto's voice is so full of sunshine and rainbows -after looking it up i'm super surprised makoto's va doesn't have many roles -oh is that what that stock sound is -this ambience music is actually super comfy -chinatsu a cute -kei's a cute as well. everyone is cute -anime is real -nao's got some T H I C C eyebrows -is it me not paying attention or is makoto intentionally butchering nao's name -oh there it is -makoto is fuckin adorable -for real jc staff consistently has gorgeous backgrounds and scenery -what the fuck I'm pretty sure this episode gave me diabetes because of how fucking adorable everything was. I think I may just be a sucker for calm slice of life shows set in rural Japan, though. I'm also surprised at how few roles Makoto's VA has because her voice totally fits the character. Super enjoyable start. |

| Ah! I felt the lack and I decided to see her again. The soundtrack is really enjoyable and the silence with which the story unfolds. Narrative with magic flavor, but all treated with great delicacy. Comedy very simple, that strikes me to the heart. <3 |

| I'm liking this show already. Makoto looks a lot like Chitanda, just a bit more livelier than Chitanda in my opinion. I like the OST's in the show, really brings out a soothing presence and the characters in general are quite fitting for the show. |

| I can deal with slow pace SOL, but this first episode is still doing a tightrope walk between slow-pace and boring and I'll give it a few episodes more to see which way it will fall. Anime style and artwork are great, very "crisp" which I like very much and the premise of the story (if it will hold) may turn out interesting. Mayor flaw for me is the Kei voice actor who in my opinion takes the slow pace aspect to a whole new (low) level. He sounds bored and therefore adds to the danger of this anime becoming boring for me, you'd almost think this was his first job and had hoped for something bigger/better. I hope he picks up a bit more enthousiasm or this show may turn out to be a "DROP" by episode 3 for me. |
| The whole episode was hilarious, but that ending scene...OMG :'D Harry Potter has taught me well, I knew what that plant was going to be immediately when she told her to plug her ears, but I didn't expect the Mandrake to be so fucking creepy and funny at the same time :'D What a scene that was :D |

| This is one of many souls that reviewing it even after three times, I think, does not lose charm and comedy. Great start with its soundtrack so beautiful and with some comic moments to frame because of their charge of sympathy. The character of Kei, is one of the best male characters I've ever seen in an anime, is so alternative to the many seen over the years. |

| This nails the exact vibes I was looking for in a witch-based slice-of-life. It feels kind of like a contrast to Kiki's Delivery Service, where a witch moves to the big city. The character reactions were very down to Earth, unlike that moe slice-of-life garbage. I think I'm really going to like this show. If anyone knows some anime with similar vibes, feel free to message me. I love stuff like this.  |

| Such a relaxing episode. Picked this up on a whim but consider me sold already. Character interactions are gold and the Op pretty intriguing too, I’m curious to see how this will progress. |

| Lately all I've wanted is chill. Right off the bat this has beautiful animation and calming music and a cute character (with cat). The pace is slow and soothing. The mandrake made me laugh. I think I'll like this. |

| Re-watching this wholesome and relaxing show. This is one of my favorite Iyashikei of all time. Chito is so cute. She reminds me of my cat, Preto. =^_^= Makoto and Chinatsu are such a heartwarming duo. Chinatsu and Nao's reactions after seeing Makoto flying the first time were hilarious. That mandrake scene was priceless. x3 Nao's reaction was pure gold again. |

| My only purpose of watching this anime is to get a sense of the story, then study how to read the manga in Japanese. It's a bonus that it has good reviews. After watching the first episode, I think I made the right choice. The reviewers were right in describing this as 'relaxing'. The atmosphere is pleasant. The main character has enough quirks to make this anime charming. So far I don't see any overarching plot, but it's good enough as is as slice of life. |

| As soon as she said cover your ears I knew it was a mandrake. Very calm show. Witches have been hidden I guess but this girl just casually flies on brooms and pulls mandrakes out. She's going to cause so much trouble I can tell. |
