This is beautiful! Can't express how much I love this new feature enough! I can see how this could be a groundbreaking change for MAL. Since MAL is now not only a place to record the animes you have watched, but a place to watch them as well. Now I can update whatever I watch right after I finish an episode on the same page, this is too good MAL. This will also spread legal viewing awareness to help the anime industry. Well played MAl, well played.

Awesome! First Daisuki and now Crunchyroll! Probably the biggest legal anime licensing and streaming site there is.

Great step.

Hulu got more anime than Crunchyroll does check mate

Then say welcome to ads without limits. Heck! 5 minutes of ads. Like, really?

Lots of videos aren't available in my country, and lots of them can only be seen by Premium members. I can actually watch only, like, every 10th video or something. Guess I'll stick to Gogoanime. But who knows, maybe one day we'll all be able to watch whatever we want to, wherever we are.

I respect your opinion as long as you respect mine.

Is there a way to remove the ugly TV icons in our anime lists?

Yes with adlbock or ublock, damn they looked ugly. This will be the future of MAL now.

I saw that Monster has Hulu videos listed, but when I click it I get a 404 error on Hulu.
http://myanimelist.net/anime/19/Monster/episode/1

Does this mean that it's not available in my region (U.S.) or is something else wrong?

I have the same issue with Cross Game (http://myanimelist.net/anime/5941/Cross_Game/episode/1).

The lists now show only the icons for the anime that are available in your country.

That's actually good and I'll probably leave it as it is.

The previous system that showed every preview and video, even the ones you couldn't see in your country, was really bad though.

Flash Player required? Sorry, but I refuse to use Flash Player; it's ancient technology. Also this makes streaming on mobile impossible. Any chance of getting an HTML5 player?

On a side note, is linking Crunchyroll and Hulu accounts to myanimelist possible?

I hope this doesn't mean you'll remove the fansubs section, they don't hurt the website or the industry at all. If you do, you might as well close the website down.

Also, I don't care about streams, they suck, they're region blocked for me, they have worse subs and torrrents are better.

I didn't even know there was a fan subs section here lol. I've always used this place to keep track of what I'm watching and to discuss some of them. I go elsewhere to watch them. I have a premium membership at CR but I also use torrents like nyaa and another site that has been mentioned here quite a bit to watch fan subs. Even CRs premium service is missing a lot of official dubs. I usually watch dubs with my wife because trying to watch fan subs with another person is a pain "have you finished reading it yet?"

So i disagree that removing the fan subs section would be the end of this site. I've never watched anything here.

How come they let you legally stream it? Is it like in their site where some anime is available for free with ads? If yes you should make sure people know crunchyroll has a premium and that by getting it they could both watch more anime and get the new episodes sooner and also that it's important to support the creators and by getting a subscription they support them better

Hmm, one of the anime on my watching list, Fushigi Yuugi, is available (at least for me) to watch on here so I guess I will give this streaming a try by using this web site to watch that anime. Provided it doesn't try to get me to sign up for shit.

For crunchyroll videos, I automatically get German subs - is there a way to change the language of the subs to English ?

My webbrowser (Chromium) is set to English anyways.

I do not have a CR subsription.

edit : Oh, cool, I can watch Tonari no Seki-kun here.

PS - I think sth. is broken with the Himouto! Umaru-Chan videos - I get a video not found.

Wait didn't anime-planet have this feature?
Also what is the point of this?
Those who watched on CR will still go and watch there.

Don't care. I'll keep torrenting.

My country's law states I'm allowed to watch things online or download them for personal use. As long as I don't make any profit off it, I'm not doing anything illegal.
