| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It was interesting to see that the last episode focused on that boy that draws, but was hoping more out of it. I was never a big fan of Yami Shibai, and this season was easily the worst of this series. They depended on grotesque monsters for scares, but it made the season look like a comedy. 2/5 |

| So it turns out that the little kid was indeed the storyteller, and he's actually evil! Who would've thought he'd go after the kids too. Nice to hear his "Oshimai" and that jingle again, though 97% of the stories sucked this season. |

| Soo it turned out that all the drawings came to life. A nice closure to find out that the boy was indeed the storyteller. Unfortunately I agree that maybe only 2-3 episodes out of the 13 were actually good. |
| Didn't really get the ending but that's an extra point for the storyteller. Was it ever revealed what was under the mask? Anyway, it's a shame about this season. It could've been great, it certainly had the atmosphere but the monsters were just far too cartoony to be at all creepy. At least Kagewani's back. |
| Eh, this season felt underwhelming imo compared to the previous ones. Just didn't feel anything for the finale either and wasn't scary at all, if it was even that for that intention. |

| Absolutely loved the last episode of the season. it was the only episode throughout the series that was actually that actually shed a bit of light on the story teller which only appeared absent from the third season. the only sad thing about this last episode is that since it did give us insight on what was going on what was going on behind the scenes of "story time" is that it's foreshadowing that there wont be a 4th season. :( |

| wow glad that I don't drop the entire season was half bad but the ending was surprisingly good horror stories based on real facts are better, so make them real and then tell the story, nice storyteller |

| All I gotta say is I hope they if they decide to carry on making any more seasons (which they might) they'll be better than whatever the fuck this season was. Turned a short horror anime into a short 4 min. comedy. Only thing good about this season was the ending theme. Love The Mirraz! |

| A few of this season's episodes came off as really silly due to the monster designs, but honestly I really hope there's more to come. Idk when I started looking forward to Yami Shibai the most out of everything I watch each week, but that's a thing that apparently crept up on me. | Yeah, it definitely has the weakest bunch of episodes among all seasons but they weren't all bad. I wouldn't mind another season to be honest. Even if the show doesn't offer many scary moments it's still set up the ominous atmosphere nicely. Kagewani's second season is next! 5/10 |

| As I said before, this was the worst of all seasons with just a couple of episodes being actually scary. But the end was very cool. When the ending came I was like "Where the hell is the 13th head?". Then I saw it on the boy's face and I was like "Oh shit!". The last episode saved it a bit I guess. |

| They wanted to be interesting with this "twist"? xD Anyway, since we got essentially who comes up with the monsters we see each episode, I think this is the last season of Yami Shibai. Oh how I miss the first season. I would literally pin myself in front of my screen even though I was scared af. The next two seasons sucked. |
| Lame. The Yami Shibai spirit from the first season has now completely disappeared from this Yami Shibai franchise. It truly had potential.. it's a shame. |

| Well, this was an interesting/fitting way to end this season & hopefully, series. Honestly, my favorite thing about this episode is that it seems like a perfect place to end this franchise, though due to the short duration of the episodes, if a season 4 were to happen, I'd watch it. & if it follows the pattern, it'd be scored a 2, since every season of Yami Shibai has gotten one point less than the previous for me. Anyway, this episode wasn't scary in the slightest but it shed some light on the situation, though thanks to JizzyHitler pointing it out earlier, I already knew that the kid was the Storyteller. Still, good to have confirmation & to hear The Storyteller once more. The season as a whole was terrible. In the first season, the aesthetic [mostly] meshed well with the horror atmosphere, in this season the visuals actively detracted from the experience. I find it hard to believe anyone could've found the monster designs scary, making the series attempts at thrills humorous at best, insulting at worst. Several of the episodes failed at building tension in the first place but even the ones that succeeded were unable to follow through & deliver. 3/10. |

| As the season progressed it seemed to get worse, but this episode was fine and kind of explained the concept of the whole season. But the season as a whole was slightly disappointing, and I think the first season is still the best. Too many boring or badly executed episodes. |
| Oh my, it was nice that this episode connected all three seasons in a way that makes this a satisfying ending to the whole series. Although this season was the least scariest of all the seasons, this episode and the ED made up for it. |

| I thought it was really meeh too. The only episode in the season that could have been decent was the first one but even it was ruined by the big problem of this season which was that every episode had to have grotesque monster popping up. The monster designs aren't even all that interesting which makes the whole thing even lamer. It's sad that the first season was mostly pretty good and the second and third range from meeh to shit. |
| Oh hey look fish face here was narrator-san. IT'S NOT LIKE WE ALL SAW THAT ONE COMING RIGHT??? This season sucked. Like. BAD. I haven't seen something this incredibly awful in such a long time, it's honestly refreshing to let out so much rage at once. This series went from genuinely intense and scary to a comedy. There were maybe one or two episodes that disturbed me. This series tried waaaaaaaaaay too hard to make its "monster of the week" scary. At some point, I think they stopped trying. No new monster designs for the last episode? Speaks laziness to me. I guess the only positive I can say at this point was that the art style improved... A lot. But even then there were some episodes that had a blatantly different art style than the last episodes. This season made me laugh and cry at the same time because of how terrible it is. Overall: 3/10 Watch it as a comedy. You'll get far more enjoyment that way. |

| Holy shit that twist broke my neck and that Inception moment fucked my brain raw ♡ Seeing all the monsters from the season and the Storyteller's reveal was a nice end to this season. |
