| Drowning as you would be in a panic for a long stint before it actualy happened. Burning to death would truly depend on how tolerant your body was to it. If you were a skinny person it would not be a long death as there is less to burn before it hits something vital. |

| Irk! I have nightmares of drowning to death... >> But I imagine that the pain of burning to death is far worse. Wouldn't you also suffocate in a fire, as well? (Fire sucking up your oxygen, spewing carbon dioxide, or whatever...) Just seems worse. |

| they are both horrible. Burning hurts... and drowning will cause you to really panic and fear for your life... (which is why I learn how to swim) I think Burning is worse... I almost drown once when I was 12, life guard saved me... and in 20 minutes, I'm in water again. ^_^ |
