| So it ended in the usual way, the protagonist doing most of the work and the supporting cast helping. Though I guess there aren't many other ways to end a show. Overall it was okay, the animaiton and art were beautiful and the characters were likable. Though the story did not manage to really go anywhere and some episodes were just boring. 6/10 |

| Coming for Mai, staying for Mai. They did well with last 2 episodes despite all other eps are kinda.. plain boring (esp the loli one). Still I don't hate this show, 7/10 for Mai and animation quality. |

| Okay but the plot twist? Nope. Also, the anime was pretty different from the light novels right? Character wise and stuff. Also the whole episodic nature could have been good (like Saiki K. or Natsume Yuujinchou or something) but I mostly found it boring. I was like "??" and also "zzzz" haha. Should I cry about wasting 5 hours of my life on this? Nah I've watched worse anime. I think it had an interesting idea, but the execution could have been better. Also I better stick this into my anime review. |

| I liked this a lot. I haven't read the LN and I had basically no knowledge about the show, plot, setting or whatever besides knowing it's about school kids fighting phantoms (and Mai's limbo dancing scene from a compilation video on Youtube), so I didn't feel any disappointment that KyoAni apparently did a original take on the story. Lot's of asspulls though, but that's kind of what I expect from anime anyway. Also, Kurumi-chan getting some confidence! Determined and ready for action!  |

| So Haruhiko's current husband just showed up and gave him a book that supposedly was his favorite one, Albrecht is a talented phantom I must say if he can do those tasks This turned out to be a serious episode as the finale and that was a good idea to end it off with an intense battle Damn that kiss I didn't anticipate that happening that they can take powers as well, That was a nice way to end off the season glad that happened in the end for a more intense dramatic last fight This was a good season but not very content-rich in the story this seemed off as a loose potential that it had since there was no visible progression in the story a very usual everyday task that they had to handle but damn the animation was so good in contrast and this was fun to watch as some might say and I enjoyed it. |

| Typical ending. So the only girl he properly kissed of his own will in the end was the fairy form of his repressed personality. Sorry ladies, he's taken. Wasn't expecting to like this series at all, yet episodes 4-7 ended up being quite enjoyable. I avoided it all these years thinking this would be a totally soulless, desperate attempt to cash in on a trend, and while it kinda was, Kyoani clearly had a fun time playing around with the settings and the color design is top tier. Them keeping the fanservice to a minimum was much appreciated, else I might not have been able to finish. It wasn't as much of a slog to get through compared to Munto at least. Will never forget the loving Sylvanian bunny parents who almost convinced Mai to end herself. |
| Well that was weird but the fight looked great with this animation... fuck this mother that abandoned him this is not forgivable. The anime had some good and bad moments overall, though the ideas and animation were mostly good, I would say it was still a decent experience overall but underwhelming for a KyoAni production |
