There was an ad in the recent issue of Monthly Dragon Age stating the next issue would feature HotD on the cover and contain a "huge announcement". In addition, Triage X, the series the artist has been working on during the hiatus, was not featured in this month's issue.

HMMMMMM

Here's the ad in question:

The series returning is all but confirmed.

http://www.fujimishobo.co.jp/webage/

"Breaking the silence, one of Age's best series makes a comeback on the cover! Can Takashi and crew make it out of the shopping mall now that it's overrun with 'them'!? New light is shed on the newest episode in the nonstop survival action series in the March issue of Dragon Age!"

With the language they used, I'm not sure that a new chapter will be in the next issue, but it does seem likely. We'll know in a couple days once it's out in Japan and the Internet can confirm for us. :P

Because the writer is a jerk who never finishes anything. He supposedly has dozens of works hanging in limbo.
