| The recap was useless, but I enjoyed the rest - that bath house reminded me of Spirited Away for some reason. In any case, it's nice to see this show hasn't suffered much from that crappy animation incident. |

| I agree that the recap was not necessary.. especially considering we're on episode 6. The non-recap part of the episode was excellent though, if anything it went by a little too fast :P Can't wait to see the next episode. |

| yeah, they were previous gainax girls. i would have lved to see some FLCL chars ... but oh well. the recap sucked, and the second half was good, but the recap still sucked. |

| Still quite a bit of recap. But I've never seen the TV version, so I wouldn't know the differences. | I enjoyed this apart from the insanely long recaps. Seeing them all lying there naked after the fight was like looking at the result of a really wild party. One with absinthe involved. Edit: Wouldn't mind seeing the DVD version, but the link above had it on Megaupload and it has been taken down. It might be put back up, you never know. |

| Well taken that I had this anime on hold for months, I needed that recap. Though it was rather long and if I hadn't watched TTGL in such a long time I would have been annoyed by it. Throughout the episode I kept thinking "Oh my god, what the fuck!" it was great. These past few episodes haven't made me laugh or stare in awe like this one, it had plenty of good things I enjoyed greatly, good morning Yoko <3 *reads* Ah, so that explains the long recap. I may just have to rewatch it then, ughhhh! |

Basically this episode was supposed to have a lot more of ecchi scene and fanservice but they decided to remove most of the ecchi scene because they were considered as too perverted. And they decided to fill the holes to fill the holes left by all those removed ecchi scene with recaps. So that's why there was too much recaps on this episode. It was too early indeed but it wasn't planned at first. |
