| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- As usual, I like the smooth pace of the dialogues from the cat. The camera angles shifted to many places in the room to give a nice view of their household. Gotta love how close the cat stays close to the owner as well, such a sweet relationship :3 |

| The cat is getting old. It is remembering about its mother and loads of brothers and sisters until all of them are gone. Then showing how she first mentioning about living alone so her mother can be more happy by getting remarried. |

| I relate to this girl more and more with each episode... I totally get where shes coming from with this feeling of being left behind and unable move forward - Even more so today in my life And seeing how her mom, friend and Daru are trying to reach out to her and we unable to is pretty sad :( I just hope that whatever it is that is the catalyst for her to move on, it won't be the death of her mom or Daru because I won't be able to handle that shit especially since she loves them both so much |

| That cat is getting old and closer to death. The girl seems to be depressed, I don't know why though, she seems to have a job and a place to stay, dunno what more does she want. |

| Such beautiful episode! Gave me some feels. Best episode so far in my opinion. So glad I started this, honestly. Would've been a shame if I'd miss out on it or ended up watching it awhile from now. Also, agree. Excellent smooth/superb dialogue and pacing. |

| Hmm, not really necessary episode I guess, those last two were more interesting. This time they basically retell what we already knew. And yes, Daru is old. We already know where this is going. Feelz incoming and new cat arrives. Everything flows into... New beginning. |

| I keep forgetting that Daru is old, but this episode makes that very clear. He no longer has the strength to jump to high places, and she has to move the chair so that he can climb up next to the window. That desperate trying to reach out to her but physically couldn't ;_; And that sort of parallels with the people around her reaching out to her as well. And the girl's struggles are too real... |

| So much feels. Daru's ageing is more pronounced. He's beginning to see symptoms of Alzheimers. Even when he knows how hard the girl is struggling and trying to move forward, there's nothing that he can do to comfort her due to his slowly ebbing strength. I get the feeling that the push that will make the girl move forward will come in the shape of Daru's passing and the girl subsequently having to face reality, her mom as well as her situation. Working part time and ignoring your friends and family really isn't the proper way to deal with life. |

| Every episode and I can't help to think about me and my cat . I have my cat since he was born and his birthday is in a couple of days. I will have him for 6 years now. He has helped me through alot of things and is always by my side. It sadness me when I think cats don't live as long as humans. So I don't take him for granted and always tell him how much I love and care about him. I probably sound crazy or overly attached. Haha but I think this is how alot of people feel and can relate to with their pets. |

| This episode made me tear up a lot. Having had my 17 year old cat pass away a few months ago, I really am tender to this anime and Daru growing old....moving chairs for them.....buying steps so they can get on the bed. This is a very nice paced anime with lots of feels for me.....probably too many. Time to go watch Ajin or Dimension W to get my eyes to clear up. |

| Woo, those feelings, especially when Deru couldn't jump onto the bed to help comfort her. Reminded of my old dog who passed away last year. They leave so much love in the short time they come and go in our lives. |

| That ending made me cry so hard. Poor Daru just can't reach her anymore. The whole show has a particularly sweet melancholy vibe. I can't help but to think of the first sentences of my favourite book: "(Heaven is sad.) I no longer care if i die, said Korin, then, after a long silence pointed to the nearby flooded quarry: Are those swans?" |

| I dont ever remember it being this hard when I moved out. You work and pay bills and thats how it is. You cant live at home forever. Yeah you might not get the job you want but you have to work with what you have. On a side note I hope the cat doesnt die. Or her mom. |

Hey, camera angles help in providing a proper atmosphere to the story. Some people are more visually inclined than others. One of my friends is an artist, and she notices such stuff before turning her attention to plot and character interactions, and this might be not the approach that I follow, but a good one nevertheless. Personally I found this comment refreshing, because it was so obvious that more than 10 people would have already discussed Daru's past and his certain death flags and the feels. Focusing on artistic details that are part of what makes the story so enchanting. And you're being pretty damn rude for no reason, and owe the topic starter an apology. :/ |
