DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It's been awhile since I have watched an episode and then it just suddenly ends when I thought there was more left. I was so drawn in by this episode, loved every second of it. Nice setup for next episode too. |

| Yeah, Lawrence is a great talker but it's even more fun when Horo outplays him. There's nothing like climax and stuff in this episode but it's very enjoyable. It's all about adventure very dialogue-driven. |

| As enjoyable as always :) I love the depiction of Medieval age with the Church and castles and everything, it's just great. And some mysterious characters (Nora and the guy searching for Lawrence at the end) are appearing too, I can't wait for the next episodes ! |

| I agree with everyone that the flow of the episode was really good. It passed almost too seamlessly to the point that the end actually seemed to come out of nowhere. |

| I actually thought the episode was a bit below par. Maybe it's because I dislike Nora, I just can't trust her since she's involved with the church. The second half of the episode was great as usual, I loved the exchange between Lawrence and Horo about sweet bread! "She'd be perfect if she didn't have a tail, though" was the best line. I'm also wondering why the customs officers were surprised at seeing the armor, I'm afraid Lawrence is going to get a nasty surprise in the next episode. |

| I liked this episode. Horo and Lawrence's conversations are as entertaining as ever. Nora is an interesting character in my opinion. She says that she's working for the church but it doesn't seem like they have good relations. |

Especially the new character Nora brings a new, exciting contribution to the series. I like her!! If we would have 16 episodes left, I would be all happy. But due to the fact, that only 3 more can be expected, I fear they will crumple up the story at the end. No romantic, no kiss, just Horo (and Nora?) fighting against the church. I tell you, if there is a smacking kiss at the end, I will definitely buy the series, when it comes out here in europe. If not.....no, for me thats just unthinkable! °° |

| Yea I really hope a second season is in the works. Been checking out the official website but no announcements that I can see yet. On a side note, I really want to try out the Nintendo DS game when it comes out. Clicky here. |

But I guess its not for sure that this is coming to europe as well. *checking price for a Nintendo DS*....around 140 Euro....*sigh*. Just bought a WII. I guess I will wait for a W&S-Wii-Game! ^^ |

| Cute episode. I wonder what's wrong with Nora. I think she may have a natural affinity with animals (why she's good at shepherding) but any wiff of special abilities among the church and rumors of OMG witch! get started with her. At least I hope so. I like her and hope she's not really evil. Also, it would get old if every pretty girl Lawrence runs into turns out to be evil. |

| Actually, did you know that the story of "Wolf and Spice" came from a very successful light novel? Both Manga and Anime are based on an actual book series: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spice_and_Wolf By the way, I know this threads are about the Anime-Version. But I just found the source for the Manga-Version *hehe*. And guess what: In my opinion Horo is even cuter in Manga-format *thinking of Horos tail and cuddling a bushy feather duster*. So if you want to know, "push the button"! But beware: The last Manga-Episode include spoiler about the future of the story. I couldnt resist and read it all. Now Im pretty sure that there will be a second season for "Wolf and Spice".... *happy* |

| Well I must say that I hope there is a second season too. I read about the Spice and Wolf mangas somewhere and decided to check them out. I enjoyed what was translated already and decided to give the anime a shot. I am glad I did and Horo had to be added to my favorites. ^_^ |
