      @Mizuzuka I loved Mario Galaxy when I was a kid, even if it probably wouldn't be one of my favorite games. I still regret giving away my wii and wii games. Dark Souls III was once one of my favorite video games, but now I feel as though it's just kinda...limited in what you can do. And while I admire the nihilistic tone, it doesn't make for a very pleasant gaming experience, personally speaking. @Pitsilizater Breath of the Wild was one of my favorite games. Now? I'm not sure. I gotta play it more to decide. @-Yokai- Borderlands 3 is also one of my favorites! Used to be one of my favorites. It may be one of my favorites again if I play it more, though. Zero Escape is a series that I feel as though the most amount of enjoyment you'll get is from a blind playthough. I feel as though they have terrible replay ability, because so much of the appeal is the mystery and well, once you know the answers, yeah. Bloodborne might have been one of my favorites, if it wasn't a horror. But I still love it. | I'd say the golden era of Need For Speed games (2003-2009) and Clannad. I say Need for Speed games from 2003 to 2009 as that was when EA didn't feel as moneyhungry. While they weren't as moneyhungry until later in the 2010s, the games from that period of time felt like they had effort put into them, and weren't simply made for a cash grab. Plus, some of the games, like Underground 2, had pretty good customization. I say Clannad as that was my first ever visual novel. I am bound to find another visual better than Clannad, but there's some about Clannad that makes me like it a lot. Maybe it's just the lovable characters and the character development, even if it's a little bit, that I enjoyed. Clannad also was one of the first games to actually make me cry, surprisingly. That doesn't add too much to my reasoning, but nonetheless, I figured it was important enough to add. |
