Goddamn that cast. Amazing.

I also take back what I said about the humor possibly not transferring well into anime, the PV already got me laughing. I'm ready for the ab workout I'll be getting from this adaptation.

Holy shit. Deen, really? Since when are they making better anime than Madhouse?

The cast though. Deen knows what they're getting into. Hopefully they won't ruin it halfway.

Is this an all star cast or is this an all star cast?

Too bad Madhouse didn't get to produce it though... still, it's not like DEEN are the worst

I hope it'll turn out okay

I don't see a problem with Deen, considering that they made the best anime of this season (Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu).

I've never hated them

They're not my favorites but I respect them for producing so many BL series and there are studios that are way worse out there (Pierrot, KyoAni, A-1)

My main criteria when evaluating a studio is not the quality of the anime, its the difference between the anime and the original material it's adapted from...

For instance KonoSuba was good but it probably would be even better if any other company made it...

So far among the ones i watched only anime DEEN made better than original material(or lets say gave it justice...) was Sakura Trick....

KonoSuba is only good because of DEEN's shotty quality

Don't you guys deny that the appeal is its shitty animation

Please explain your reasoning. What have they done wrong with the source material, since you are clearly familiar with it to be making this claim?

Would it, though? A-1 probably would fail with the cast, since Aniplex constantly playing favorites and they are hit or miss when it comes to the quality of their material. Madhouse? Mahouka was godawful and Overlord was decent at best. And Bones would never do it in the first place.

Damn, I'm laughing at that all-star casts considering their characters' roles in the series. This will be fun. xD

Though I wonder if Deen can keeps up their game. There wasn't even that much animation in the PV. Let's hope we won't see that much of this here.

Mind your insulting tone...it is not a claim and im not here to fight, wont be baited...I didnt read original material thats why i said "probably"...I was referring to shitty animation,so-so art and 10 episodes...

Mahouka and Overlord are completely different than KonoSuba which is a parody...So dont know which parts you are comparing them for...If animation then even Overlord with its CGI shit was better...;_;...Also J.C Staff maybe?

Dunno,i am just saying was KonoSuba anime good because the LN is good,or because of DEEN...

Well, there is no other redeeming factor about KonoSuba. Even the seiyuu don't make the cut.

I watch it to laugh at how bad it looks.

Humour is subjective anyway and for the majority it is excellent. Even the sales point to that.
Some people can say the same thing abt osomatsu san saying there is no reedeming factor but there you go.

Not really. The main appeal of Konosuba are the characters and the humor.

That is simply your opinion. I read the LN but the first two volumes weren't really that impressive in comparison to the anime.

Oso-san has budget, seiyuu cast, prequels and much more :^)

At least Oso-san doesn't have wonky art/animation

Why don't you just read a chapter or two of the manga before automatically judging DEEN's quality?

No, Ping Pong doesn't have lazy animation/art. KonoSuba's is actually lacking effort. Remember in episode 1 where they reused a bunch of scenes for the training montage?

The fact that I have nothing to say about them other than one or two adjectives.

That was for comedic purpose.
Also reusing scenes =/= bad animation.

So you don't even know what you're talking about? Good to know.

Edit: oh wait you've only watch 2 episodes. Nevermind don't even bother to reply

I don't give a crap if DEEN's behind it. They pretty much own this season with Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, Reikenzan, and KonoSuba. And Takamatsu is directing it so I i'm more confident about its adaptation.

PV has everything looking good but the music used might be too... happy?... I guess when I read the manga I always thought was a slightly dark undertone...
But still can't wait!!!!! :)
