| It's been a year but I'll reply anyways. Because the term is mostly used as a joke. People rarely use waifu to refer a character they geniunely have romantic attraction to. So since they're using it ironically, both guys and girls use it. Same isn't true for husbando. While you can still ironically say someone's your husbando, people won't assume that you're joking per se cause it's not a gag. Heck it even has a KnowYourMeme page. |
