| I used to watch 3 at a time. But coudnt keep up. Now i watch 1 at a time. I enjoy more now. When im done with a series i move onto the next. |

| It depends on how invested you want to be. There are some anime where I watch them just to make the time go by. They are entertaining, and I like the characters. However, if there is an anime that truly takes my interest, and I even take interest in the fandom, then I'd probably watch just that or maybe one or two more. This is the first season where I have really kept up with 5+ animes, and I can honestly say I remember the names of like 1 or two characters per show. If that. |

Since I am still new to anime I am watching one of the long running shows in my case that show is one piece I am also watching a already completed show as my second and the third show I watch is a slice of life. I am considering making the jump to 4 shows because alongside one piece which I am currently watching I might start another one of the long running shows. |

| i try to keep a limited amount around, 1-3 or 1-2 at once. it gets all too complicated keeping track of a lot of anime at once. i dont update MAL every second so yeah. it depends what you mean at once as well. what i usually do is when i get reccomended short anime, i watch 1/5th of it then move on the next anime, watch 1/5th of that one etc until last then choose which was one most interesting and binge watch that one, the binge watch next, etc. max is 7 at once but preferrably go low like 1 or 2. |

| when I was really into anime (2008-2010)....i would easily watch 15+ new anime plus another 5+ older anime each season. Now it's about 5 or 6 altogether. When you've seen so much anime, eventually everything starts to look the same. |
| Personally, I started watching most of the seasonal ones, and I don't regret doing so. I can still follow the stories in all. Outside of airing anime, I usually watch 3 at most simultaneously, and mostly just one, as I prefer binge-watching completed anime. |

Well, it depends, if all the anime you are watching are really good there's no limit. But when some along aren't that great it'll get hard to keep up if you have too many...
