Super late to this, but this was probably one of if not my favorite chapter in the entire manga, at least in terms of Marika. Seeing her talk about how "I don't have to be a princess...no, instead, I can't be a princess anymore" was...a lot. The wording was super intentional too -> she didn't say she didn't want to be a princess, it's that she couldn't. She didn't say that she didn't want to be a girl, or that she wasn't a girl, she said she couldn't.
"But even so, I'm here. I'm right here."
She knows who she is, but she felt she couldn't be her.

I guess part of why I like this chapter so much is how relatable it is to me, too: I had a brief questioning with my gender identity when I was around that age, but I ended up bottling it up for an eerily similar reason - It cemented Marika as being the most personally relatable trans character I've seen, at least.
