There's a significant amount of politics involved, and they have a tendency to look and say "this person really deserved an Oscar before, and we snubbed them, so we'll give them one this time around." He deserves accolades for his work, a solid knock for his speech, and I hope to see him in many more good movies. The Oscars, on the other hand, deserve a complete shakeup. |
