I want an anime that's like SAO / Attack on titan. Something relatively popular, watchable but disturbingly bad. Not something that's so obscurely bad I don't even end up watching the entire thing. I guess I didn't phrase myself correctly. |

Ah, well then the closest for me that I actually completed out of pure stubbornness would be to watch all of the Endless Eight arc from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009) in one sitting and thinking "just how low can the producers go with this" as I kept clicking the Next episode. That's why I scored the 2nd season episodes a collective 2 (because 8 of the 13 were from that arc alone) while the 1st season and movie I scored with 9's. The Haruhi series is a strange beast because on the one hand you have one of the most infamous arcs in anime but at the same time the first season and (especially) the movie are just pure anime gold. If you are serious about watching all of the Endless Eight then get the Redbull or Capuchino ready and or move any breakables away from your computer because you are either going to want to fall asleep or you'll get so enraged at the producers that you'll want to destroy something. Clannad and Air come to mind, too, though Air is considered bad even by rabid Key apologists. |

| Mine would probably be Death Note, but you've already seen it, so... Tsubasa Chronicle was just terrible by all accounts, and Shaman King not much better. The Saiyuki anime is also just one of the worst adaptions of anything I've ever seen and to make it worse, it's really long. The one anime I hate more based off popularity than any one element in it is Le Chevalier d'Eon. All the others had clear problems with storytelling, art, animation, voice acting, ect, but this one... People call it a brilliant historical series. This enrages me. Other than that it's just kind of a 'meh' series, rather than truly awful, though. |

Pure crap: it has a usuful heroine, unrealistic romance, forced melodrama that makes you think the author is a extreme saddist that loves to make suffer her characters, wasted potential, lame main love interest, boring pacing, cheesy dialog, and try too hard and fail to have any deepth. |

| School Days, everybody kept saying it was bad so I wanted to see what was so bad about it. It was unbelievably generic and boring, the ending is to the level of "Well that escalated quickly" but I though that was the best part of the show. Sword Art Online 2, it was really boring and didn't have a reason to exist, also it didn't make any sense, among a lot of things why are people still playing VR games after Sword Art Online 1? How are they even still allowed. The show was trying to sound smart because Kirito said at one part that he adjusted a router to do some hacking or something. That doesn't even make any sense. The show had a ton of other problems like that. The only reason I really watched it was because my sister liked it and I wanted to have some anime to discusses with her. Vampire Knight, I saw it on Netflix and though it looked cool. I could barely last 2 episodes before dropping it, I almost always give shows at least 3 episodes before deciding weather to drop them or not. |
