Screw the fanservice! Who cares when it made me ROFL!

Anime these days are so... bad.

I've been waiting for an episode like this and obviously, KyoAni did it once again :)

I lol'ed at the Beach Girls. They looked all powerful and badass only to become comic relief.

Finally, the octopus from the opening has appeared. And Cthulhu is badass.

So much fanservice this episode lol. As expected of Musaigen... err KyoAni.

This show went from decent to average to bad. Cool premise, great animation and art, terrible execution.

Atleast Mai-senpai started to notice a bit MC-kun

What a pointless episode. The only thing that's pointing is the male demographic that is pandering to. Just give this series an ecchi tag for its genre and call it a day.

I think than was a be a classic onsen chapter, but i like the plot.
See the power of the others members was cool, specially beach Angels. The perv monkey was so funny, you know lick sexy girls.
Koito smiling make me laugh hahaha.
When Ichijo say cthulhu I was WTF?, but the squid has sense. Cthulhu can have the shape than he wish.
Resolution was so funny and weird.

I can't help but think this is targeted towards horny 10 year olds. Seriously what is the target audience.

The-blonde-guy-whose-name-no-one-bothers-to-remember is blasting off again! Yay. That reference to Team Rocket suprised me.

Is Cthulhu a pokemon? (seriously, he isn't but it'd be funny). Also, I've been waiting sooo long for this guy!

That was a lot of fanservice. Not complaining!

When I saw the look on Mai's face when she was staring at Haruchiko I was sooo sad that it's not the romance series :(

About the ending. It was suprising and funny but I kinda feel sorry for Haruchiko.

This was a very nice and relaxing episode.

I liked that they showed the other students powers as well.

I didn't have high expectations though....and this was the only episode I didn't like.

Still not as bad as the talking bear episode but the fan service was pretty tame. Phantom World really doesn't know what it wants to be its stuck between being a kids show and standard shounen

It still amazes me that this far on there is no overall story and no character development. Defiantly the most disappointing anime this season.

well, i now why people dislike this episode but for me i think the comedy just escalated XD this is the funniest show so far for me XD
that monkey just dug a hotspring in the middle of the school and wrecked eveybody who disturb him. #ThugLife XD
i doubt this anime will have any actual plot if this is what happen in episode 8.
well, if there will be 24 episode...there will be a plot obviously, but....MAL still doesn't give any information about it. but i enjoy this anime so far. the comedy is so funny and the slice of life stuff was pretty good too imo.

Well, that's our kinda-cliché'd onsen / beach episode. Cthulhu doesn't really resemble my image of a Cthulhu, but whatever. Seems like our MC is finally receiving that well-deserved upgrade, huh? So far so... uh... good?

Ending was funny everything else was pretty meh.

Awful as always, but I'm glad the fanservice is back. Those were some decent ass-shots. Ending was almost hilarious.

The painting scene was pretty funny, other than that I cringed the entire episode.

Haruhiko can't seem to make any of his summonings look menacing, all they do is come out cute looking.

That phantom deserved to burn, how dare he reject Reina. It's a sin and blasphemy to reject Reina, she's life and love.

And we got a pouting Mai, so adorable.

What's even the damn point of the MAL synopsis including that part at the end about the "mysterious bombing of the Alayashiki Research Facility?" I think at this point it's definitely guaranteed that this series is going nowhere. I saw somewhere that this series is going to be 13 episodes, I highly doubt they can fit this research facility plot thing into 5 episodes.

Not surprised about this hot spring episode. I knew there would be either this or a beach episode at some point in the series. I'm honestly surprised this show doesn't have an ecchi tag, or at the very least a harem tag. The licking, that I'm assuming was for comedic purposes, came off as plain awkward and made me a little uncomfortable. Well, the end was kind of funny I guess.........

I lol'd at the end. Beside that, it was eh .

So is the monkey phantom supposed to be Son Goku (Sun Wukong)? I didn't think so at first, but their ascendance to the heavens reminds me of his title "Equal of the Heavens"

And then came the episode with swimsuits, the comedy was also better than in previous episodes, I enjoyed seeing other people with powers to fight the Phantoms, this time more focused on Mai and Haruhiko, I expect a development in the plot in the next episodes ..

Eh didn't find this episode interesting or funny at all....

They managed to fuck up something as simple as a beach episode. Especially the end was disgustingly bad. Is this series supposed to be a case study for new staff on how not to do an anime? It might be even as bad as Itsuwari no Kamen in that regard.

Didn't think it could get worse... It got worse. At this point I'm just just checking off all the fanservice episodes that can come out in 12 eps.

I have to say this episode felt kinda stupid. Worst so far, and I used to be amused by all the weird stuff, but this was just... meh.

Felt more like a OVA, wasn't a fan of the episode overall. Comedy was decent but the fan service was rather annoying, also the monkey turned down best girl Reina so fuck him..

While the top one is awesome and shall likely see much use going forward, I'm pretty sure you mixed something from another series in there.

One of the best episodes yet. I was grinning ear to ear all the way through. Lots of fun and the fanservice was creative.

lmao what was that. I feel like I'm watching filler. Only this isn't actually filler, its just the show. Though technically I guess you could call this filler cause I heard none of this actually happened in the source material.

Even despite the massive amounts of fanservice, this was easily the funniest episode so far.

That ending. Talk about selling out. With "friends" like that, who really needs enemies?

I thought this was going to be your typical ecchi hot spring episode. This show is kinda going downhill, it was my favourite at first but has come way down. I like the characters but the 'plot', wait there isn't really one...

this show i swear... at the start was wondering why the typical smart talk was going on longer than usual and i was just thinking to myself hot springs in anime are just used for the fanservice now adays lol and what did we get a hot spring episode full of fanservice which made that first 2mins pointless

I've given up trying to find any reason in this show. It is just there for laughs and giggles. Kyoto Ani....I guess I'm going to have to wait for another season.

I am curious to see how crazy they can make the last 4 episodes. I mean, the show is already down the drain, just say forget it and write something so insane no one will ever forget it.

Eee, it wasn't that bad :D I just accepted the fact that this is a episodic series. I wouldn't watch it if it would be done by other studio. KyoAni besides great visuals somehow always manages to keep my attattention.

I'm glad that they wanted to do obligatory onsen episode in totally different way.
