Best RPG among the following
| Why is Suikoden not on this list? Suikoden 2 is best turn-based RPG ever. |
| Out of these; Final Fantasy. Even though they drifted away from the turn-based action when implementing ATB and later on changed the series to a new direction. Dragon quest is not on the list, but they are pretty fun too. |

| As a game mechanic I felt a pure team turn based battle is lacking, there's little room for improvisation or surprise. The individual turn battle style on the other hand felt more challenging as each character carry their own combat pace / speed where the order of action could be critical to the result. In the latter category, my favorites would be FF Tactics. Beside Ramza Squire class, I find Ninja as base class is exceptionally strong with the proper skill set. |

| I want breath of fire here, its the game that got me playing rpgs. As for the best, it has to be final fantasy if you consider th plot, characters,music, that sort of stuff. Its another debate as to which FF is the best. Also, no chrono trigger? If it does count, its easily among the best games ive evr played, let alone rpgs. Secret of mana is a surprising omission as well. |

| It's weird to have classical RPG mixed with Tactical RGPs, it's such different experiences. Can't compare stuff like Vandal Hearts, Tactics Ogre, Bahamut Lagoon, FFT to regular FF/DQ/BoF/Suikoden imho. |

| Lol putting Growlanser, I though I'm the only one who play the game (exaggerating people). Anyway, Pokemon, FF and Valkiria was okay but persona hooked me the most. Need to continue Kiseki Series someday. |

| Persona is number one for me as I love the charaters and themes plus the game play is good and the stories are intersting.I also like Pokemon still , I might start playing the Tales games, and I played Dragon Quest Inquistion a while back and I enjoyed it. |

| Hard question to answer Final Fantasy has phenomenal games but also had some not so great ones so I would say they have the MOST good turn based RPG's Disgaea is a strategy RPG series which I've only played one but am enjoying the hell out of it and if all the games are this good it certainly deserves it's nomination. Persona 4 Golden got me in to Persona and I'm about to go play 3. After doing some research a while back on the series, I found it seems to be overwhelmingly loved so because of this I would say this is the MOST CONSISTENTLY good RPG series. |

| -make a thread about turn based rpg. -Don't even mention Arcanum. And don't put a possibility to vote "other" either. It's Arcanum, eh. One of the best RPG we ever had to play~ Also, what about Fallout series. Or chrono trigger. And Xenogears. edit : The list includes games with sequels . Stand alone like Phantom Brave will not be added . I don't get why the discrimination since you're excluding some of the best things around, and why just because it's not the same name for the sequel in chrono trigger's case it's not good, but anyway, fallout series is still a turn based RPG and is a series as well. Also Xenogears is techniclaly part of the "xeno" series. |

I will add the games That I have played or Know about . For specific reasons I haven't added Markai Kingdom , Phantom brave , Chrono Trigger and Tactics Ogre . I have started playing games only last year . I never had the luck nor money to enjoy , Gameboy , DS , PS1 , PS2 , PS3 , PS4 , Gamescube and Wii . All I have played were symbian mobile and java games and some nes games on Video games that use chips . |
