| My parents were pretty lenient, and they never punished me in any physical way whatsoever. Now that I think about it, I don't really remember being punished at all. This is already way out of the topic, so here's my side of my story, when I was in 3rd to 4th year HS, I always guard the gate because I saw a bunch of children playing our doorbell for so many times. So, to end this, I slightly open the door to watch carefully on when they're going to bell. And when one of those brats rings the bell, I opened forcefully the gate and ran out to chase those bastards. So, as I caught one of those kids, I gave him a huge knuckle sandwich to his head. He cried. And angrily said to those kids, "Putang ina ninyo, wag kayong mag-doorbell kung hindi ganto ang mangyayari sa inyo" (Sons of bitches, don't you try to doorbell our house again, or you're going to suffer the same fate as this guy). And with that, one parent called me and brought me to the nearest police station. I'm still a minor, so the police gave me a warning and to end this quarrel with that crying and bitchin' little kid whom I smack his head, I sign up my name and leaves without a word. And With that, the kids were scared at me because literally, I'm the gatekeeper of our house... |

| The worst one was when I dad beat me with a stick for hitting my sibling in the stomach or chest. I remember crying a lot while he was yelling at me and beating me. I think I was around 4 or 5, it's still a pretty bad memory for me. |

| I was a horrible kid. I did all sorts of shit that warranted an ass whoopin. Belts and slippers and hangers and switches and ... you name it, my dad used it. Mom too on some occasions, but that's only if dad didn't get to me first. One of the best things to happen to me, tbh. Set me straight. A lot of people might cry child abuse. I don't see it that way. People raise their kids however they want. Hasn't negatively impacted my life in any way. |

| Only the hand. When my aunt told me to get off the trike and come inside, I should have listened. She whipped me off that thing so quick and I forget the rest. My dad was the belt kinda guy. All he had to do was threat us with it, y'know where you wrap it in a loop and snap it? I remember me and my brother got too rowdy one day and he told us to go into our room and wait for him to come back with the belt. It felt like an eternity in there, but he didn't have to even use it. Because we knew. |
