| Why BlackJack get 25 volumes ? Original editions get 22 volumes and french versions 17 volumes. So why 25 volumes ! Sorry for bad english, i'm french ! |
| Tezuka asked the publishers to remove some of his stories for the reprint. The reason he removed those chapters was due to him receiving feedback from readers with the very same disease or at times he'd decide that a more optimistic approach to certain stories would've fit better. Vertical Inc published 3 out of the 11 missing chapters. |
