| You know from the goblin's point of view those guys look like genocidal maniacs. And if you think about it what they do is kinda asshole-ish. Have we ever seen any goblin doing anything even slightly bad? They're just minding their own business but constantly get slaughtered by people who just don't want to get a regular job. |

| That was lovely. I think this is the first episode in the series that felt genuinely uplifting. It was great to see the party mature and see Mary slowly begin to feel at home with the party. |

| I wish the getting to know each other stage is over because I'm sick of it. It's always: "You didn't ask my opinion" or "You don't think about my feelings" or some bullshit. Fucking kids, you're trapped inside a mmorpg-like world, have no memories of your past and have no choice but to risk your lives killing monsters for a living and this is what you kid's a dealing with? I just wish it's over and so we can move on to something that actually matters like gunning for stronger monsters for better loot, better lifestyle. |

| Nice episode. I could imagine that nobody knew how to talk to Mary after what happened to her. Haruhiro realizing that he didn't saw how Ranta for example felt. The same was with Merry. Ranta always talks a lot of stupid things and doesn't think to much about it. Haruhiros reaction when he saw the goblin with the dagger he lost when Manato died almost backfired. But who could blame him, fortunately Yume was there which led into nice fanservice :P From then you could see the progression. Better armor, more skills. Everything seems now really easy for them. Funny how they're getting called "goblin slayer". The new skills they have are really nice but I wonder about this light Haruhiro can see. It doesn't look like something you can buy as a skill. Also interesting that they now can differentiate between female and male goblins. Lol male goblins have harems? wtf :D The drama really seems like over. They're working together as a team. I hope we will see Marys smile, that would be great. Beautiful ending picture  |

| The soundtrack is just great. I I didn't mind the little info dump regarding the progress of the party. The atmospheric slice of life moments are definitely making up for it and are most appealing aspect for me. And damn, I'm missing Manato more and more with each episode :S |

HOLY SHIT SHE USED A BOW FINALLY how many times are they going to show yume's butt btw, it's excessive to the point i wonder if it's supposed to be a comedic thing (a shit one) finally a lot of decent development even with the absolutely legendary overuse of still frames |

| know the whole goblin killing thing is meant to be something of a joke about endless grinding, but for me there is something really satisfying about the way there are actually mapping the area and working towards clearing the goblins out. I guess it may having something to the with the fact that in games you rarely get that sense of having cleared out and area for good. |

It's the gorgeous artstyle along with this one thing which still is holding this series in a good place.. and oh before I forget, perfectly curved ass shots and boob shots as well( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Again though slaying goblins day in and day out, while strengthening the bonds in between. Same old but good to see even the show is aware with their "endless goblin slaying" scheme lol. |

| More insert songs played over goblin-killing montages, with a bunch of stills and freeze frames. I'm not one to mind a slow pace, but the party spends more times discussing their interpersonal relationships than they plan out how to progress. You can only keep grinding the weakest trash mobs in the "starting area" up to a certain point, because the diminishing returns as you level will eventually force you to move to a new area that's properly scaled for your party's experience. Even the anime itself is aware of how ridiculous this is. At least the gang is getting their confidence back and upgrading their equipment, so there is some development in that front, but some new locations or enemies would be interesting at this point. While the video game mechanic references have been largely absent since the last episode, the characters still approach life in this world like it's an RPG or MMO, so where's the progression in that department? |
