It made me more anti-social, if that's what you mean.

But seriously, it has kinda. It might make me go onto the internet moar, but it let's me talk to people that have the same interests as me, instead of the people that I have to see every day that I hate. And it's easier to keep track of what I'm watching. It's a big upgrade from the sheet of paper I used to keep by the computer that I would write on every time I watched something.

I lost ten pounds, grew back all my hair, and wrote a top selling Aerospace Engineering textbook.
Well, until that happens, my manga and anime will at least be well documented.

Any experience affect me and changes my life in many ways. This is not localised to me, but everyone. None are exempt from this fact. Was it positive or negative? It just is, neither is true, both are correct. How has it? it has affected my daily pattern by taking into consideration time I spend on other thing internet related. has there been a physical change in my life? no.

I am watching you masturbate....you're good.

Uh, there aren't enough Lum fans here for that. I'm still getting the hang of how MAL works.

Much easier to find which anime to watch, and I think I do watch more of it since I joined MAL. Other than that, not really xD

Yes, definitely.
Now, I haven't got that much time to watch my beloved animes and read manga, cuz I'm spending most of my free time making member cards or chating with people form MAL. But I still love it, first thing I'm doing when I'm coming back from school is turning on my laptop an' checking MAL :P.

I could easily say no.
But Mal's anime database introduced me to a lot of anime that I have never heard of.
Thus changing my life, in a very small way.

It made things a lot easier for keeping track and up to date about animes and manga. Helps me in that way, but it's also very time consuming. I try not to go on too much because I need my social life time.

Its helped me out a lot. I have an obsession with list making, so having a site devoted to it is awesome for me. I had an anime list that I made with excel, but this site does it better

Yes. It has been the roots of all of my despair. ISML, 4chan, and my acquired (?) OCD. Probably got me more organized, though, and I've meet some pretty interesting people on here, some who are now close irl friends. Glad I found this site, let's hope I leave it someday. I refuse to still be around here as a 30 year old woman. >:(

hmm how has my life changed since i found mal?

-I've started going out a whole lot less.
-I ditched my friends to watch anime.
-I've found more anime to watch.
-I've started to fail classes from having too much to watch.

Sure my life's changed but the bad outweighs the good.

i wouldn't say its changed my life, its just made my "anime" life easier to manage. helps me remember if i stopped watching a series for a duration of time and then pick it up again it helps me remember where i was at.

pros:
+helps you remember
+see where you are
+see what shows are popular at that time
+latest anime/manga news

cons:
-trolls
-spam
-zoning out (could be a plus but its all determined by the moment)

all i can think of

Not really.

The most it changed it is by helping me remember what I am watching and want to watch and such.

Not really, MAL is a great place to meet others who have similar interests. It has shown me anime I have yet to see and manga I have yet to read...but on the other side. All it did was make me want to watch more anime...I think that's a negative +9000 social points right thur. (lulz)

Hmm, I've been on here for over 5 months now, no friends yet >.> but I guess its because this is the first forum post I've ever made. I'm not really an otaku but I like to watch the occasional anime. So nope MAL hasn't really changed my life yet, but i do like it for keeping track of all the anime i've watched, even if noone views it o.o

Well, it definitely makes it easier to keep track of the anime I've watched. I used to have to think about where I was for a minute. Now, just knowing it's on MAL helps me remember that I'm on episode whatever on the spot!
