| An older cousin showed me Ninja Scroll. It shocked the hell out of me and piqued my interest; I'd never seen anything like it before. He showed me other anime, then I started seeking out anime on my own. |
| I was with a group of friends at one of their homes and they put Naruto on netflix. It all started from there. Before that I had no idea that stuff I had seen before on tv, like DBZ, was anime. |
| I saw some girl drawing manga in my old 7th grade art class, and thought "Oh, that's... a Japanese art style, right? Wish I could draw that good..." Then, I started getting into anime and watched Sailor Moon like most newbies to anime. Now, I've seen too much anime to be sick of it. lol |

| Well, local tv station aired anime more than cartoon so that's how I got into it. They used to aired it after school hours so I watch it before doing my homework and in some holidays they marathon it from 9 - 11 am. Even now they re-run Dragonball Z every now and then, started watching more anime that didn't run on local tv stations when I was in third year highschool. |

| I 'learned' what anime was after watching all of the first Naruto anime in 8th grade and needed to fill the hole in my heart lol. But really like most young adults in the states I watched anime on Toonami as a kid. |
