As it turns out, the real writer is someone else who lives in the apartments and her dad is actually his assistant. I don't remember if she ever learns who the real writer is. Eventually, the mother comes back into the picture. She's gotten engaged to a rich guy and wants the daughter back. However, her father fights tooth and nail....and I'm not really clear on my memories of what goes down in this part. What's more than clear was the mother was a real piece of work. It ends with the daughter's middle school entrance ceremony. This sound familiar to anyone? I was also thinking about rereading this one recently. It’s an oldie but it’s a goodie. |

| I'm searching for a one-shot (it could be Korean, I don't remember - I think it's from around the time that Bongcheon-Dong Ghost was popular). The main girl was jealous that other girls could eat a lot and not get fat, but then someone gave her a pill which made her like them. She started to lose weight, but I think she could never satisfy her hunger. I'm pretty sure she died at the end and they made a pill out of her (like the one she was given at the beginning) and gave it to another girl. |

| I need help remembering the title of a shoujo that I have read a long time ago and want to add to my list: The story takes place in a boarding school, and I remember the main leads' names were Romeo and Juliet. Both characters were presidents of opposite rivaling boarding houses from the academy (kind of like Capulet and Montegue) and they're supposed to hate each other but fall in love, and so have to constantly hide their relationship from the other students. |
