[BUG] 100% CPU usage

I've definitely narrowed down this behavior to be coming from MAL. When switching to my tab that has MAL open, there's a chance that CPU usage will spike to 100% for a few seconds. I usually open the MAL homepage in the background before I actually need the site. The arrival of this bug seems to coincide with the new list button at the top.

Experiencing this with Chrome 48.0.2564.109 on Windows 7 64-bit.

Is also happening to me, everytime I start using MAL, the cpu load starts ranging from 1% to 62% and immediately after I close the MAL tab comes back down to 1%.
And this only happens when I've MAL open, I can play 10 youtube videos at the same time and the max cpu load is only 10%.
I already scanned my pc a few times with the antivirus, but nothing has come up.
System:
Intel i5 6600.
16 GB of RAM DDR4
EVGA GTX 760
Windows 10 PRO 64 bit.

use an AdBlocker on MAL for now
