Of course Lelouch's dead.It was so emotional and sad.He was my favorite character and it maked me sad to see my favorite character die.Even if his dead was really sad the end was just amazing somehow.

I will not believe that everything is controlled by fate.

For me it was by far Shirley. Her whole story was just tragic, and her ending monologue during her last moments was really touching, sad stuff =(

It would be either Euphy or Shirley. Both Euphy's dialogue with Suzaku and Shirley's with Lelouch were very sad. I would be happy if it is possible to take my vote back.
Also Nunnally crying over Lelouch while others praise Zero was heart-wrenching.

Would have to pick lelouch, but I feel Mao is an underrated choice because of his backstory...it"s actually very sad

It is really sad that Lelouch dies at the end but in my oppinion the saddest death is Shirley's. Lelouch had dicided his death and also he accomplished his goal before he die, Rolo sacrifished his self and Euphy is probably happy with the end of the story. But Shirley suffered a lot and died in a silly way by a friend without having the chance to talk to the real lelouch enough(AND THEY LOVED EACH OTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Well I wrote a comment about why shirley's death is the saddest but i forgot to talk about Mao. His death was very sad but he never actually lived, so he lost nothing. It is very sad that he didnt have the chance to live and shirley did but she suffered in her life. She was trying to build a happy life and she could have it but she lost her chance because of others. Her life was a strungle...
