| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow nice, we got a back 2 back special/1 hour premiere this week. The experimentation looks awful, can't even imagine what sort of pain the subjects had to go through...damn. Nice episode, got what I had expected.  Satou is such a badass :o |

I don't watched the movie, but i think, TV version will cover last parts of the movie in the next episode, since event that happening later is nice ending point of the movie. |

| Didn't expect he'd be captured that quickly. Dat torture tho. Cutting his arm and finger off ouch. I guess Kai's a really strong motive to keep his sanity. 10 days of torture and he's still nice and all. Bromance over 9000 Loved the scene when the IBM was in front of Tosaki staring at him XD Poor Izumi being threatened like that :( I friggin love Satou!!! He's a friggin BA! His proficiency in fighting as an Ajin is absolutely amazing. Cutting his arm like nothing and then shooting himself when he's overloaded with anesthesia. Nxt ep looks intense! |

| I feel sorry for Kei. A thought Takahiro Sakurai's character was an Ajin but I guess not since he can't see the black foggy dudes. Judging from the preview, next week ep is gonna be intense! |

| Great episode! I'm really finding this show consistently interesting and engaging. I hope it keeps it up Satou was really badass this episode (that shootout scene was cool) but he's also a huge fucking jerk so I'm conflicted |

| Satou letting Nagai get caught so he could see how humans treat Ajins. All the experimentation is terrible. Nagai taking in all the pain. Seems like Tosaki has a grudge against Ajin. Seems like he would even betray Izumi and turn her in as well. Satou was cool taking on those guys with the tranquilizer's, even killing himself to surprise attack them. Seems like the operation failed and Nagai is not gonna turn against humans. |

| Am I the only one who doesn't trust Satou? Yes? Well then....... He seems like he genuinely cares for Kei and Tanaka but......... I don't know. I just get a bad vibe from him. Like how your brain tries to warn you about upcoming danger by sending a message to the rest of your body which results in the bad feeling you get in some situations. | That's creepy, the Experiment stuff. Tozaki can't see Kei's black Ghost. And Satou's doing something like "organ trafficking". So that's Satou's "real" intention, to make them learn from "experience". |

Mamo's voice acting was really amazing, and while I said that I don't think he fits Kei, he still did a great job. The whimpering and noises of pain, in addition to what was happening to Kei, was hard to watch and listen to. The part when Kei started crying (both the part with Tanaka and the end) was also rather emotional. I really liked when Kei said that Kai is the only one he could never betray, because Kai risked his one and only life for him, something that he could never do. There's the feeling of gratitude, but more importantly, the feeling of respect towards Kai and maybe even envy--that Kai could go to such great lengths to do something he believes in. Whereas Kei, almost all his life, has been just going with the flow. Kei stopped his IBM from killing the researcher only because of Kai. But at the end it doesn't seem like Kei hates all human from this experience either, which I think is an important thing to notice about Kei's character. Ogura though, lol. He just waltzes in and calls people stupid. And to anime-only watchers, Ajin is the term for the "beings" that are immortal (Kei, Satou, Tanaka). IBM is the proper name for the black ghosts, as stated in by Ogura in this episode :) |

| I hate you old man but U R SO BADASS!!! Hahaha. Was waiting for the new episodes and it is always engaging and thrilling. Too bad the subs is a little longer than the normal ones... wonder why horriblesubs is not picking this up. Such a waste since it is a very nice anime to watch. |

| Nagai might have betrayed Kaito when he was a child, or in previous episode, but this episode showed that he won't kill anyone, because he doesn't want to betray his best friend. Which makes Satou plan to force him hate humans and be bloodthirsty for killing a fail. I guess next episode which is called I love killing, will be about Satou's bloodthirsty personality and he will show Nagai that his calm and peaceful nature was just a facade. Love the way professor made his appearance, totally badass. The explanation about IBM was pretty good too, i thought of it as a ghost, but it's actually a substance, which is a human-like. That makes Ajin really powerful. Since immortality is incredible ability on its own, and the only counter tranquilizer seemed not to work if Ajin is very experienced like Satou-san. not to mention they can control an invisible person-like creature with the ability to immobilize opponents with voice. 10/10 anime |

| The torture scenes were absolutely terrifying, it gave me the shivers. And the most frightening part is, I can imagine too well that humanity is exactly like that, abusing other living beings out of their own curiosity. Great show. |

Studio's not very good at portraying time lapses. Apparently the police caught Kei 30 min before Tosaki got to the scene; but it seems like Tosaki was there the whole time. Apparently Kei was held in the facility for 10 days; but it seemed like 2-3. And a few episodes ago, it took awhile to realize that Satou rescuing Tanaka was a flashback and not necessarily current. |

We can probably infer that Ogura's information and the research team he was with in America had cooperation from Ajin (or maybe tortured some Ajin to tell them everything). |
| This ability is actually very OP if you have weapons. I didn't think of killing yourself to avoid tranquilizers. It seems Satou didn't like Kei's response. From the preview, next episode looks action packed. Looking forward to it. |
