Anyways from what I've found out still no release date, all they said it is coming out in 2016, as what I've seen a lot of people are saying. It looks like it definitely is coming out in fall. Most of the interview hasn't been translated, but it seems most of it is about other stuff about Season 2. So if you are a anime only watcher. you shouldn't read it when it gets translated. |

This can't be the final arc, because we also have the shifter village to deal with as well, not to mention Annie as you mention. I think both of those will be in the final arc. This arc is the penultimate arc. And it is already confirm the series has two to three more years left. |

I did not expect to see Marlo die so fast, tho: I thought he would be one of the young recruits to live and tell the tale of the valorous survey corps who sacrficied themselves for the Wall people's sins. I'm really shocked, to be perfectly honest: what a terribly cruel way to go. And as if it wasn't bad enough, we've got Erwin down somewhere in the middle of a freaking noman's land. I also suspected Zeke had some decent amount of plot armor considering he's a new antagonist we know next to nothing about as well as Editor-kun's comments on his importance as a key element to understanding the mysteries of the verse, but holy shit Levi sure got him good: homeboy went full ACWNR Episode 2 on his ass. It also appears that Dog Titan saved Zeke in extremis and is running away. Whether or not Levi decides to give chase, it doesn't seem like Erwin will be able to use the serum to eat either of these two shifters: does it mean he's actually gonna bleed out and die? I dunno I hope so, because it would be a decent death, but at the same time I hope not because I really like the character ;_; |

If it was me, I would probably chase him to death, I have a grudge because Mike and Ymir, and if there's a chance he regenerates and comes around Wall Rose again, yeah, I'll definitely would go for his jugular first. I doubt Levi would leave the kids with the two shifters around, though, with no Hanji, no Erwin, squads with a few soldiers left, even if Zeke is the major pain in the ass. It is a good thing that Bert rides the Colossal titan, yet the titan itself is no shit - his defensive and offensive powers are the highest compared to other titans, Zeke's included. So yeah, finishing off business with Reiner and Bert is more important. |

There is not much trees where levi is at, so there is no way he can catch up to the mule titan. I don't think Zeke is going to retreat to the village. Remember there's still those other cargo on the mule titan back. |
| @keragamming No, I don't think he has killed personally Ymir, but I think she recognized him or the organization he comes from. I meant the damage he caused by summoning his minions while leaving Wall Rose - they attacked the Utgardt Castle and Ymir spiraled to the unknown because of it. So, the bastard comes for a second round on his own? :] |
| @zellami To answer your question: as appealing as the Titanwin theory is, I still don't think Levi gave him the serum, if only for practical reasons. The success of the plan depended entirely on Levi managing to sneak up on MT: Erwin, as well as the rest of the soldiers are nothing but mere cannon fodder meant to distract the enemy. On the one hand, I have no doubt that Levi would be willing to go that far to keep him alive, but on the other hand giving him the serum was just way too hazardous to be a reasonable idea. The prerequisite for Erwin having a chance at becoming a shifter would've been to reach MT in one piece. If he had the serum and was killed by one of MT's rocks, then this trump card would be forever lost. If he somehow managed to use it before getting murked, he would've become a liability to the other soldiers who knew nothing of the serum's existence and were riding right next to him. Levi's intentions regarding the serum are still up for speculation but regardless of what he planned to do with it, I'm 99% sure it's still in his possession. Who knows, maybe Levi did plan to give it to Erwin if, in the best case scenario, our favorite commander somehow managed to stay alive and ride all the way to MT's spot (just some random theory I don't really have any basis for). As you rightly pointed out, dealing with the two major threats inside Shiganshina and making sure at least Eren and the rest of the Levi Squad stay alive definitely takes priority over hunting down Zeke, who's pretty much out of comission for the moment anyway. So chances are we'll get a last Erwin/Levi moment near the end of this chapter or in the next one which will confirm whether or not Erwin is really kill. |
