depends on how much I liked it, if its something I really enjoyed, like a 10/10 or 9/10 then I usually remember it pretty well. Shows in the 7/10 or 8/10 range I remember bits and pieces of, usually my favorite scenes. 5/10 and 6/10 I usually remember a couple standout scenes. I try to forget anything below a 4/10

If it was crap or I didn't enjoy it like that, then I'd forget in a couple of days. But if its ranked 9 or 10 on my list there's a 95% chance I'd remember most of it. I mostly remember epic scenes or the ones that really leave an impression on me.

If it's an "average" show that I kinda enjoyed, but doesn't stand out that much (maybe something like Nisekoi), then I'll prolly forget what happened in it after a few months. However, if I find an anime either completely awesome or insanely bad, I'm likely to remember it for years to come!

I don't think I've ever forgotten a show completely. Just by looking at the name I can remember bits and pieces of it. And for the ones I really like I can remember most of the plot very easily.

I can't ever completely forget, but it takes about 6 moths to forget some moments, I noticed when I was re-watching some series.

Depending how much I liked it, might only take about 6 months or so. For series I really liked, I'll forgot about 60% of what happened after about 2 years.

I have a good memory for trivial stuff like TV shows and movies, so like decades. If I liked the show or really hated it I can recall the basic storyline and the characters.

What I tend to forget are movies and TV shows I thought were mediocre, these are not memorable or important and I'd be hard pressed to tell you the plot or characters in something I rated like a 5 or 6.

1-2 months for bad animes, and 1-2 maybe 3 years for good ones.
Neither will forget it :), yet one wishes to rewatch as soon as possible but no its better to give it about a year and half or 2 years max. for me.

If it's a memorable one, it'll stick with me for awhile and I probably wouldn't forget 90% of it but a good chunk of it nonetheless.

If it's a show I didn't really care about, I would say about 4 or so months after watching it would be where I forget about it mostly.

It depends.

1. First of all If I got bored of the anime. For example, Glasslip. I really don't remembered what happened there.

2. If I saw it just because watch something, like for example Kyokai no Rinne, I dropped it and by this way I only remembered some characters, and the ED song.

3. Animes that I watched 4 years ago I say to me: What is this anime about?

The stronger the impact an anime has with me, the memorable it becomes. For example, Toradora is one of those unforgettable endings you could never forget. Toradora, was one of my first anime when I started watching as a kid growing up. It's one of my favorite anime. Nowadays, I tend to forget shows 90% of the time, even though I still remembered some anime ending from years ago. I don't know why but they've just stucked to me.

I never completely forget anything I watch unless it's from when I was a small child. But I will remember certain moments that rewatching will refresh.

Completely forget? Not quite. I don't remember everything, that'd be impossible. Even for anime that I found memorable, I only remember key-points and random questionable moments. Give it another 5 years and I might completely forget, might. That's when it's time for a re-watch.

If I wholeheartedly loved an anime, I most likely won't forget the impact it had on me unless I've been brainwashed. If I didn't like an anime or if it was an anime that left me confused at the end, I'd definitely forget it within a week.

An example is Kagerou Project... that was some confusing and overly complicated shit that SHAFT thought they could pull. Assholes.

I'd also forget the names of characters if they are just too much or plain out irrelevant. I'm watching Mayoiga and I only know 5 out of 30 names without having to use Google.

For me, several months even if I absolutely loved the anime :p I'll always remember the main parts of an anime, but forget the little details in between.

If it's bad, okay-ish, typical generic shounen and mediocre not too long but if it was extremely good or utter garbage then it will stick for the longest time.

Recently rewatched a series, 9 months, forgot maybe 1/2 mostly on details. But it's a sol so not much in major plot points. Though I rarely rewatch, forgetfulness really helps enjoying it again lol.
Somehow I forget most endings, regardless how good/bad it was.
If you consider watching 30-40 seasonal shows, with 4-8 mcs, I won't even try remembering 120-320 names (or 3x with first, last & nicknames).

1 week, if it's bad, 1 year, if it's good?
But like everyone allready said, if you just see a cover or hear the name of the specific anime, that would trigger the memories about it.

I dunno. I think If I really tried I could recall 1-2 moments from almost any anime I have watched but not much more than that. Even from my favorites. I guess it starts getting hard after roughly 4 years. I can't really recall anything from shows that I watched back in like 2012. Now its time to start rewatching I guess :P

It depends on the anime. If its Awsome, somewhere around 8 years I'd say. If it sucks, i'll forget it wile i'm watching it. Some anime is life changing though, and i likely will never forget those.

Most of the time I wont't forget the general plot, but if I rewatch it, I would definitely notice things i dont remember the first time I watched.
This is especially true for anime I watched while it was airing.

But I love rewatchin anime so this is usually not that big of a problem for me.

Forgetting it completely for me, is impossible. It all depends on the series and how awesome it is though, I personally just can't seem to forget anything and everything (well important stuff) about my top 5, but if I did have to pick a time period. I'd say a year? Yeah an year or close to a year.

It depends on how I felt about the anime. I remembermost of the story of anime I liked. I remember faces, names, dialogue, events, and even the hypothesis I made when I watch them.

I think the main cause to remember is that I recall them when I zone out. I remember the major deaths and the OP moments and fights for years.

2-3 years apparently for shows (coincidentally all in the harem/ecchi genre) I didn't particularly enjoy or care for. There are some which I forget I've seen and some I even forget exist until I see them..but there are a few which I've apparently seen yet I have no memory of them whatsoever

pureply depends if you have dementia, amnesia or something like that.
that and it also depends if the anime is pure shit(something like a 3/10).
people tend to remember amazingly horrible anime thanks to the amount of shit it was.
currently in a state of denial

If it was that bad, chances are until someone mentions them it won't hit me. Even if I were asked to name the Worst Anime I've watched so far, I'll just Stare at them/the screen.
But to completely forget about a shoew I've watched, that's highly unlikely to happen.
