Maybe not 100% of it but like at least 90...

There's animes I've watched from over 2 years ago, that I have absolutely no idea what happens in them.
I could rewatch them like I'm the I'm a first time watcher probably, unless watching it triggers my memory or something.

depends on how you enjoyed that anime, things i loved and watched years and years ago are still mostly clear to me, viceversa i forget even the plot of the avarage harem anime after some months..

Yeah it comes down to how much I liked them. I feel fairly confident I could recall most shows i've watched with some only needing a little reminder.

if i find them mediocre i will forget the whole anime within a year and half way in the rewatch have major deja vu, if i liked it i will only remember major scenes but still find myself enjoying it basically the same as my first watch minus the shock from plot twist and ect.

If it's not that interesting.. i'll forget it in a month or less.. and of course, the character name is always the first thing i forgot XD

I seriously need to stop watching idol anime... The fact that I can't afford to buy their CDs yet keep making my heart broken..

It depends on how good that anime is. If it's good then no matter how many years has passed I will never forget it. But if it's just a normal, nothing much to remember then I will forget it after about 3-5 years lol I forgot that I actually watched it.

It depends on how memorable it was!

All of my favorites I can still picture a lot of what happened, and if I watched again I bet it would feel very familiar!

There are some other anime I forgot I even watched at first, which says something maybe...

Depends on the anime.
Depends if I like it to the point that I rewatch it straight after, and have in running in the background for weeks.

If the anime is a one timer, I will probably forget till something like a picture, or scene triggers my memory of the anime.

But I never truly forget, its more I don't access that particular memory so I don't recognise it instantly

Few days even less than 24 hours, usually when I tried to find OP / ED to add into my playlist, I couldnt recall all anime I watched recently.

So I have to refer to my hard drive or my history in MAL.

*I almost want to post similar thing, I hate that we as human have imperfect memory.

**I always play kinda a game to see if I can remember at least basic description of specific anime whenever I went through all the list. Turn out there are couple that I basically have 0 memory of it.
Watching style atm:

1. Mindless Gaming + Anime streaming with dual monitor
2. Focused + Anime binged watching with speed up
3. Couch / Bed Anime watching with large TV
4. Relaxing in virtual cinema with VR.

It depends how much I enjoyed them and how much attention I was actually paying to them.
In general I have an excellent memory, so completely forgetting about something is not liable to happen for me; at least not for a long time. After having a quick glance through my list, the one I can remember the least about is Nozo X Kimi. There's a reason why I gave it a 1/10 lol.
It's an entirely different kind of flying, altogether!

When something is really boring I pay less attention and so I usually forget most of them. If I enjoyed to watch something however, I can remember a lot of it for a long time, really hazy from 4/5 years+ I guess.
I'm feeling thank you

The finer details, like names of supporting characters with minimum appearances, I'll probably forget within weeks of having completed an anime. Details more central to the show, like the names of the MCs and prominent supporting characters, key plot points and major story arcs, I tend to remember for years.
It also depends on how much I'd enjoyed an anime and how many times I've watched it. If I've watched something more than once, I'll remember most of the frivolous details, even a few years after my last viewing.

I usually tend to forget shows that I watched, within like a week or so after completing them.
Unless I really enjoyed it that is, then I would probably remember it for longer and rewatch it.

It's easier to forget if it's not memorable or there's nothing worthy of remembering regardless of how ridiculous it could be.

I have never completely forgotten an anime I've watched. I tend to remember the plot and things that happened in it even if I haven't seen it in years.

It's not exactly a question of time. If something was shit or good, I'll remember it even years after. More average shows will be easily forgotten though.

I feel ya. I remember bits and pieces and if I re-read spoilers I'll remember a lot of it, but I'll forget like half of it after a year. Sad.

If it isn't memorable or anything, I'll easily forget about it in 2 months.

Its not how "long" but how enjoyable and memorable the anime is to you. If an anime is not up your tastes then maybe even a few months and you'll forget about it. There are certain cases in which the anime you've recently watched is dumped by a new anime which is more enjoyable for you.

I remember everything what happens in some shows I saw 2-3 years ago. But I only remember those shows I enjoyed a lot. In general it takes a year more or less forgeting almost everything about a generic anime for me.

Depends on the series really.
Some series I remember vividly for years.
Others I completely forget in matter of weeks.

There are a few that I've completely forgotten about excpet for a scene or two. As I was putting my list together last summer, I was racking my brains for trying to remember some of the series I've seen. Chaos: Head is one of those I have forgotten nearly all of.

I usually tend to forget anime which I don't do research for, or didn't find them interesting. It depends on the impact on me too, be it a bad or good one. For example I will never forget how bad Mars of Destruction was, but I also will never forget how good Ashita no Joe was.

If I rated it highly then I don't forget much about it at all until a very long time has passed. It usually shifts so I can't give a close estimate.

depend on the anime, but I don't usually forget 90% of an anime, maybe 60-70% top

Depends on how much I liked the anime/how memorable it was. Even though it's been about ~5 years since I last watched DBZ, I still remember the entire storyline quite well. While there are some other examples where I remember maybe 1/4th of what happened.

I usually forget parts of them and eventually I may only remember the skeleton of the anime. I will never forget everything about the anime.

About a year. That was when I first watch FMA:B, and I only remember the bare minimum about the story and its characters.

I remember bits and pieces. I'll forget the plot first, but 2 or 3 years later I can still name characters from shows if you were to tell me them. Then again, I have been told I have a photographic memory so it's not like that for everyone.

I have a horrible memory, so a week or so after completing I'll pretty much have forgotten everything about it.

That's why having favorites on here is so damn hard for me. I know I've watched plenty that I've been completely blown away by.... but for the life of me can never remember them.

A couple of years, I think. I never completely forget them, especially if it's one of those shows with major plot twists, but I still have to re-watch stuff pretty often.
1 hour = 10,000 yen.
2 hours = 20,000 yen.
3 hours = 3 loaves of French bread.
4 hours = 4 loaves of French bread.

I'm not able to completely forget an anime I've watched (may be due to the fact that my anime list isn't too big and that my memory isn't bad with things I'm interested in) although now that I think about it there are a couple of animes that I only remember its important parts and this somehow motivates me to rewatch them soon.
