| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Is it me or did the OP song upgrade again? Lol, the star wars gags. Funny episode again. The way that Hotaru ate is teasingly amusing especially with the noodles. LOL. This show in a nutshell. Really though, I like the changes to the OP song. Wonder if they will do that every week with some changes. The pool parts was priceless especially Hotaru's dad. Hotaru/5. That freaking throw. Funny ED theme too :D   Edit: Nvm, I think that's the final version of the OP song. |

| This ep proved that it's Hotaru and You-san's interactions that make this series for me. Hotaru and Saya alone are fun too (Saya's so damn cute <3) but that Keikaku Doori stuff was so lol and You-san acting all girly in his speedos was just....NOOOOO Gotta admit Tou and Hotaru's interactions were fun too XD Dem Misunderstandings lol Loved the ED dance |

| The opening and the ending has new animation. That's good. The first half of the pool was funny. Kokonatsu's father and his friend are hilarious. The other half was Hotaru/5 without any doubt. Saya is still cute. |

| Nice dancing in the ED. Alright episode, nothing innovative. Didn't make me laugh out loud. I don't think there will be any meaningful development in these 12 or so episodes. Probably will focus on a few new snacks every episode. |

| Liking the new visuals in the OP and ED song. Hotaru and Saya dancing in the ED song is pretty cute. Nice to see Tou-kun again. He is pretty funny. Love Hotaru's weird and quirky personality. Kokonotsu's dad and Hotaru scheming a little bit at the pool. Looking at all these snacks makes we wanna try them out. |

| OK, Mori saved this anime again. And another awesome episode, I'm really amazed that show about cheap candies could be that entertaining. All characters are great, and Hotaru, well, I can't find a word/s to describe her awesomeness :D 5/5. |

| They actually showed great restraint with Hotaru's pool outfit, but her first expression as Saya prepared to eat the dagashi in the final segment more than made up for it. :D Lovely to see them bonding. Combined with that Alice in Wonderland style ending I couldn't help but think of Gourmet Girl Graffiti. Clearly this show knows it has two wonderful female leads and intends to show them off! :D |

| A bit better than last episode. I guess this would be very funny and nostalgic for the Japanese, but for us foreigners it loses its value a bit. But at least Hotaru's tits are of universal value. |

| Hey could anyone that has read the manga (or at least further in than the anime has covered) of Dagashi Kashi tell me whether the story stays with this sort of comedic formula or if there is actually any sort of character development, romance, or at least an "arc" that lasts for more than 0.5-1 eps? I mean i love the comedy in this series, but the comedy alone i don't think is enough to sell me on this anime. Especially because I'm not a massive fan of episodic series with little to no progression or characterization at all, unless they are really really good. |

| Looking at the number of posts...wow, this has been dropped a lot, huh? Gotta say, this episode wasn't really good. Hotarus antics are getting old pretty fast. I was baffled how flat Saya actually is. Still qt/10. Btw, what is wrong with the Endous teeth? Are they descendents of shark-people? |
