The frog was gross. Aqua and Satou's chemistry is kinda funny. I bet Aqua's VA really had a fun time playing her character. Megumin's appearance in this episode was my favorite part. I almost thought Maaya Uchida was her voice at first I think her character is my favorite so far in this adaptation. Still not feeling big on the comedy about this show yet though but Megumin has my attention now. Darkness' debut is ..weird. Dat pose  |

| This episode is pretty enjoyable. I have no complaint for both story and animation. The comedy part is enough to make me laugh. And also, the ED song is pretty damn comfy. Overall, if the director can manage not to f*ck this show, It'll be one of my favourite shows in this season. |

| This anime is really going parody way I see, I actually hoped this would be a little more serious. A chuuni Arch-Wizard which her power is like nuclear launcher joined his party.... I bet that weird Saber would have some screw loose too like those two... |

| This adaptation continues to impress. The frog quest was very humorous, and Megumin was definitely given justice with her introduction. And that "Darkness" at the end...my heart! :D All three girls are wonderful. The facial expressions in this also really stick out...so great! :D Quickly becoming a candidate for sleeper hit of the season for me, even aware of some of the manga as I am. :D |
| Megumin has serious chuunibyou vibes. I expected comedy from this show and comedy it delivered. A lot of laugh out loud moments. This show is like Senyuu but longer. Which I am totally okay with. |

| I really didn't expect to love the other girls as much as Aqua but after seeing Megumin I think I might actually like her even more lol. She's so cute. Such a Chuuni XD And her ROMAN!! for Explosions is hilarious XD Gotta admit DAT chant and explosion looked friggin epic tho. Her feeling bad for Aqua because she thinks of herself as a goddess was lol And then we get Darkness, can't wait to see what quirky attributes she's gonna have XD Already left quite the first impression |

| Fantastic comedy so far. Aqua and Megumin make for one epic team. The Frog Quest fails had me dying. And here comes Darkness rolling to the table... Can't wait. |

| much better than i thought. perfect for some midweek laughs. similar to danmachi but different in its own way. Loving the randomness and random cuts to different scenes.. and also how the characters don't hold back how they feel towards one another.. and the voice cast is doing well too. (ai kayano <3 ) Will follow!! |

| That was beyond hysterical. Fucking comedy of the season right there lmao This is reminding me of 1/2 Prince a bit with its absurdly exaggerated slapstick humor in this setting |

| I don't know if it was intended (most likely it was), but that explosion magic was a nice parody of Giga Slave :-) Even the incantation starts very similar :-) |

| Wasn't 100% on this after the first episode, but I'm almost certainly sold now. The comedy is actually really funny, probably funnier than it has any right to be, all things considered. I was worried I wouldn't like the other characters as much as Aqua, but Megumin and Darkness both seem to be pretty funny as well so far. I'm really liking that ED as well, but the OP is just generic anime song #9736. In a way, I'm kinda surprised it's taken so long for a parody of the "trapped in/transported to a game" genre to come up like this. |

| OMG LOL. The beginning "Minimum wage? Fair labor laws? What are those? Are they tasty?" The way he said that mare me laugh so hard. And Aqua getting eaten by that frog was hilarious af xD. |
| I didn't expect that I would enjoy this. Pretty enjoyabe series for this kind anime (I hate series about games). And Aqua is awesome <3 Looking forward for more. |

| With this episode the best girl Megumin has been introduced. I read all 5 translated novels after the first episode last week and I can say Megumin is best girl and the novels are a pretty fun read so there are some good things to look forward to in the anime. Deen has been doing a good enough job with the adaptation so far and with this pacing they plan to cover 3 novels I think? |

| Megumin may be a Chuuni but at least she has some backup to her claims as that spell while only to use it once was truly powerful. Aqua on the other hand is still just an airhead. Darkness...Really? with all the darkness references why not simply name themselves the dark envoy and go on a quest instead to conquer the demon king and become the demon king themselves and bath the whole world pitch black ...AHHAHAHA.. This along with Grimgar and GATE are best candidates for anime of the season for me XD. |

| Finally Darkness is here!! She is definitely the best girl and i can't wait to see her in action. Megumin being introduced was funny as well. And the part where those woman started commenting was a good laugh. |
| That was a fun episode. I laughed my ass off at the frog hunting scene. Darkness seems to have issues? I don't understand what happened at the end, but my curiosity has been piqued. 5/5 |
| I wish this show has some of the Musaigen no Phantom World 's animation quality. But even with this animation, it's still a lot more interesting and enjoyable. |

| I absolutely love this show. It's just so darn funny. Megumin is super cute, but of course, she's as useless as Aqua and Kazuma. When she fell flat on her face, that comedic timing was perfect. Darkness huh? What an odd name. She looks like she could be a misfit too. Soon we'll have our own party of misfits. ED was really nice, very serene. Now I'm sad that I have to wait another week to see the next episode. This show is hilarious. |
