| Mainly GATE fans got into the series by watching the anime that was just released but there surely people who like it not just because of the anime but by manga and/or light novel too. And this is what I want to know, which one do you prefer more the anime, the manga, or the light novel. And what's the reason behind that? |
| I've only watched the anime and I t was ok, it didn't make me feel like I should watch the manga/LN since I found it average. |

| The manga gives the anime justice to say the least. Having personally read the manga, I thought it was so dribble and void of meaning just like the anime, that I haven't even bothered to put it on my manga list. I only watch Gate in anime form now though, because of Rory <3.  |

| i've read the manga and watch the anime they're both great, but i'd take the anime over the manga any day since i hate reading and i don't personally find the lack of blood and nudity all that bothersome (though they could ramp up the blood a bit) |

| Manga by far, we see a lot more go on. Also makes for a much for "mature" experience as well regarding the battle scenes etc. Then of course there's the art style, everyone got a younger look in the anime. |

"Army no Isekai". But it has become nothing more than a escuse for plain stupid fan-service and even more stupid logic in SDF actions and interactions within the new world. Disapointing. But as the common sense screans: "goth lolis! yay" BTW, if the manga is also a piece of shit, but has no censorship, so it is be best choice. |
