| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, it seems like this episode was leaked earlier than the intended release date. The adaption definitely reeks of DEEN quality, but after watching the series animated for 24 minutes, the animations aren't as bad as I dreaded when I watched the PVs. Though their choice of voice actors compared to the drama CD is still appalling. Nonetheless, so far, the series is a joke, but not how the original light novel series intended. Though I actually laughed a bit from Aqua's reaction when the man stated he is part of the Eris Sect. I'm not expecting it to get better, but I at least hope some gags will be at least half as funny as in the light novel. The best thing I like about the anime so far is actually the background scenery, they actually look pretty good. My poor Yunyun though...  |

| The comedy as presented in the LN and manga isn't half bad, but I'm very doubtful as to how DEEN would handle it in the future episodes. They're off to a pretty weak start with the poor character designs and cheap animation quality already. Really wished another studio picked up the series and kept the drama CD VAs.. Well, the OP song is nice at least.~ |

| I LOLed. Backgrounds are fine, characters are inconsistent and not terribly good, but it's still two steps above Log Horizon. Noob adventurer with no skills and his Goddess... where have I seen that before? But rather than a boob ribbon she has upskirt shots. Good start, lets hope it doesn't go tragically bad like Pick Up Chicks In A Dungeon. |

| I thought it was mediocre, but I smiled from time to time. I'm ok with the art and animation, after all, the only reason why I put this on my plan to watch list was because 2 of my fav VAs were in the cast .3. |
| Wow, this came out early! Yay for leaked episodes. It was actually quite funny at times. The art is meh, but the animations are worse than what Deen has done 10 years ago. 3/5 |

| Honestly, I didn't find the comedy much appealing. I think it's fine but not something I'll enjoy each week for laughing. The quality isn't good as it looks like DEEN's budget went to Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu instead this season. Maybe the show will get better when the other girls are introduced. I do follow the LN but my expectations aren't high. OP song seems okay. Seems like average to me for now. |

| This is definitely going to be the best comedy of the season.....I was already dead after only the first 3 mins LMFAO Putting that aside, I really liked that the show feels like an RPG game but at the same time it has a standard MMO anime kinda feel to it as well so I found that to be great MC and Aqua are fucking hilarious together but I like how they each have what the other person is lacking.....The way they trolled each other in this episode was priceless so I can't wait to see how their dynamic together will play out in the future Visuals were okay save for some bad art here and there and the music is pretty fitting which is a good thing....Can't wait to see more |

| I personally liked it. Maybe because I haven't read the LN, but I didn't really have much qualms with it. MC seems like a pretty fun character, and Aqua is pretty likeable too. All in all, I don't think I'll drop it. Also, is Aqua not wearing any underwear? |
| Really reminded me of DanMachi... Which is a good thing, if it plays out similarly. Not too shabby, imo. |

| I found it pretty hilarious, was searching for a comedy show and finally found one. Other shows were pretty serious in concept. I had more laughs from this than Dagashi Kashi at least. The ridiculous banter between the hero and the goddess is what made this episode for me. If they keep that up without turning into a cliche harem, I'd probably have fun with this show. Well, the setup is your-standard-rpg-world-game-mmo stuff and it parallels DanMachi in a few places. So I'm here purely for the comedy and some world building. The art on the other hand.....let's leave that to Grimgar for visuals. |

| I'm glad it's as funny as the original. I love the soundtrack used in the anime and I also like the background scenery. I have mixed feelings about the character designs because they just don't look entirely similar from the original. Design looks so......off. Oh well, I'll get used to this. Despite the poor character design, this has been an enjoyable episode. :) |
| Didn't know how this would turn out, but I thought it was pretty funny. Looks like the budget is low like Log Horizon, the visuals sure ain't no Hakkenden, but I wasn't expecting anything from this so I don't mind it too much. It sucks for the fans of the source material though :/ Also, Aqua's outfit is really short...and that jiggling. Not sure if this is a keeper yet, but I did like the comedic take on this genre/premise. |
| I feel they failed to capture the essence of the scenes from the light novel. Aqua's actions are a nuisance in the light novel but I just don't see it in the anime. Not that it's a saving grace; but I continue to enjoy him mentally calling Aqua useless. <3 It's not that enjoyable so far, but I have high expectations for the mage and tank we'll be meeting. |

| Well then, I think I was hooked within the first 5 minutes. This blew my expectations right out of the solar system. I mean damn, it's so new and fresh, I already want to add it to my favorites list after just one episode. So fucking hilarious, and the animation and characters are gorgeous. |
| That was fun :D Glad that both RPG series this season are looking quite promising. Quite a few lol moments, Doctors laughed at him having a heart attack XD Loving Kazuma quite a bit. He's a fun MC. His choice was smart I guess. If I were to be given choices between those broken abilities and Aqua I might just choose Aqua I mean look at DAT ASS :L But at the same time I'd love to have some nice abilities :/ Loved the part Aqua got her pride shitted on with the old man and the money lol No wonder luck is shitty XD But well ofc she's HAX in most other stuff. Really hope Kazuma can get stronger. And not remain a loser combat wise. PS...WTF was with that lady breaking her baby's neck with the meat O_o?! |
