| I am lost for words, can't even describe how epic this episode was!! Kagura was so great in this one, she has matured so much since the beginning. My god Gintoki and Takasugi's fight was amazing with the transition between the beautiful and sad flashbacks. I had tears running down my cheeks seeing how the three met, had such heartwarming moments and what they are in the present. |

| I want more of Kamui vs Kagura!! Finally some backstory of Takasugi, Gin, Katsura, and Shoyo. Shouyou's VA did a great job, he really sound as a reliable teacher. And I know Gin will survive that but honestly wooden sword vs a real sword, Gin is really on a different level. And that ED felt so heartwarming :D |

| I was on the edge of my seat the whole Ep. Finally, we get to see Gintoki past. Katsura used to be so mature in the past but now lol. Shoyo sensei is so amazing, I noticed Gintoki also talks like him sometimes. Numbers can't do justice to how amazing this episode was. Definitely one of my favourite.Also, Both OP and ED are amazing |
| One of the best episodes, if not the best episode of Gintama. Its a great balance of action, drama and developments, in a chaotic setting that keeps you on the edge. Fantastic fantastic arc, if this keeps up with this level of quality until the end, this season gets a 10/10 from me, which for a shounen is remarkable feat. |

| NEW OPENING, LET'S GO! SOUNDS EPIC AS HELL. Oh man, Kagura was on pair with Kamui. She single handly opened all his wounds and Hattori is holding himself there with all those wounds. While Shinpachi is doing random attacks. And the main fight, Shinsuke vs Gin. With a little bit of flashbacks here and there. And wow, those were some of the best flashbacks I've seen. Lovely, emotional and wholesome. The ending where they made rice balls together was just adorable but it's sad to see Shoyo smile like that while he died for their sake. Gin's the one who fell down first but pretty sure Shinsuke will fall down too. Epic OST, animation. I feel like I heard the ED before but hey, It's pretty good! |

| Kagura and his bro reminded me of me and my sister back in our younger days. lol Cool fight between Gintoki and Shinsuke. Interesting backstory too. Damn, Gintoki was already a gifted swordsman from the start. It's no wonder he can go toe to toe against Shinsuke using only a wooden sword. That explains why all 3 of them are such powerful swordsmen. Nice ED. Past to present. I like that. Otose was such a cutie back them. Time was so cruel to her! Well, to all of us actually. |

| New OP and ED! And this episode was mainly good for the flashbacks of kid Takasugi, Katsura and Gintoki along with the current fight going on. And it looks like we're getting more of the flashback/backstory part in the next episode, great! |

| The balance during this episode was fantastic , use of flashbacks and amazing fighting between Gintoki and Takasugi really made me feel all the hype that I wanted , Kagura and Kamui might be a little bit different case of a fight but nevertheless a great one |
| oh my god this is probably my second favorite anime episode of all time now. everything was perfect. i loved the flashback, the kagura vs kamui fight and the gin vs takasugi fight. literally everything. the animation was amazing and the ED song too!! 12/10 |

| Disappointing visuals for the opening, although Gintoki screaming gives me chills every time, but the song itself is easily in my top 3. As for this episode, just amazing. I don't really care so much about Kagura vs Kamui, although I don't dislike it, but Gintoki vs Takasugi is what I want to see. The flashbacks were very nice, finally we learn about the past. |
