DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Title: MAELSTROM III I would like to dicusss the "step-by-step" aspect fo space colonization far more than the "heliogyro" device which I remain skeptical (you can't use solar wind like that, it's fictional) On the other, the operator's daughter is born on Moon and want to have a baby born on Mars. This actually portrays how humanity will slowly expand in the solar system, with each possible resource as a flagstone (the mention of the asteroid belt was particularly nice) Not as deep as the previous episode, other than displaying once again the harshness of space (old classic theme in a lot of SF short stories) |
