| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, and the ghostly spirits or whatever hits the camera no less than 2 minutes in. That very ending got creepy as shit. I'd feel bad for anyone who discovers his body. |

| -ghost thing starts creeping up at the end- Me: -out loud- Naaaaah You know, at first I thought this show was kinda just trying to say something about depending on technology, but at some point people who just happened to be in the same area as technology were being "haunted", and I didn't really think that was cool. Like, what are they trying to get at then? There's dependency and then there's advancement, and I feel like if the show meant to try to get that across, then they need to know where the problem actually is. |

| You can't tell a good horror story in 2 minutes. The pacing was too fast to get into and the ghost with the goofy face didn't really scream terror. Giving it a kawaii desu ED doesn't really help it much either. |

| So wait... was the ending suggesting all of the skull/ghost girls with the red eyes are the possessed haunted by them through technology? Huh? I don't get it. This looked more like an experimental series and not one trying to relay a message about technology or whatnot. Such wasted potential. |

| Still a solid 6 from me. I do wish they would've, y'know, explained something. Anything. But I suppose leaving it open ended makes it more interesting. I personally believe there was one 'original' ghost crawling through the net, a viral ghost if you will. And it possessed people at random and turned them into living ghosts/zombies/etc. I might be reaching, but maybe it's commentary on how so many people are affected by one tiny thing on the internet? Like, one small thing could destroy people's lives or something. |

| This series was so disappointing. Like were all the episodes meant to be connected? Who cares. Couple of creepy episodes, but the ending with the red eyes wasn't scary at all. |

| This was a pretty bad last episode imo. Some of the episodes did feel creepy, especially the voice change ones and red eyes, but as it went on, I felt desensitized to the whole ghost thing. It would be scarier if they actually had a story going on. |

| This was pretty underwhelming. While some of the episodes did a good job instilling a feeling of suspense and uncertainty, most sort of fell flat and didn't leave much of an impression on me. It also would have benefited by having longer episodes. The short length didn't allow me to feel any sense of attachment towards most of the characters. On the positive side, I thought the rotoscope animation was well-done. I'd love to see more anime (and shows in general) experiment with it more. It was also nice to see that the actors had fun doing this. c: |

| It turns out that my favorite part of the series was the ED segment. It was nice knowing that the actor/actress/whoever involved with the project were having fun making it. It's a bonus to get to look at those cute actresses. ;p As a horror this failed tremendously. |

| This show was not scary at all. It is true that in 3 min is difficult to create something frightening, but Kowabon fails at it in every episode. In fact, many of them were simply ridiculous and laughable. Moreover, the ED was a terrible choice, it only killed the mood (if there was any). Abstain yourself from watching this anime. |

| The premise was interesting, but the execution was bad They should make the ghosts appear in more devices rathen than just cameras, because things got boring and predictable after 3-4 episodes. Also, they could break the 4th wall in the last episode by having the ghosts attack the viewers of Kowabon for a creepy climax! |

| this ep helped explain more about the ghost more as well as lead to believe that everyone who is killed by her is corrupted and joins her ghost army. This whole show was meant to focus more on the rotoscoping and in a setting of horror to help get that sense of fear. Id say they do alright, like im not a rotoscoping expert but the art style was kinda bland. Eps 1-11 were like, isolated incidents that all involved ghost girl. Then 12 shows us her and her dancing which i can only assume she maybe died that night and soon, began to haunt technology. Ep 13 shows tells us exactly who she was. Like someone said, there was a common theme of cameras in general so idk what type of message they were trying to get at. I think they are trying to say that there are cameras everywhere watching 24/7 and we have become dependent on these cameras as well as placing them everywhere as though we desire to be observed i guess. People use cameras to communicate with others or to observe other events. Idk if the message is that placing cameras everywhere is becoming bad as now anyone can stalk you, idk. regardless, early on i really felt creeped out by stuff and music didnt help as it really set the tone. However as time went on, i felt stuff kinda changed and couldnt reflect early eps of it being creepy. Idk. I did not feel like there was much to laugh at besides how copy/pasted the ghosts felt. It made sense kinda as to why but still. Imma give the show a 5/10 since i dont think it was necessarily bad but it wasnt really good either. |
